RuneScape Player Owned Farms

A new big and interesting feature was introduced into RuneScape – player owned farms! Check out what is this all about!

A new big and interesting feature was introduced into RuneScape – player owned farms! Check out what is this all about!

RuneScape Player Owned Farms

It would be difficult to find a MMORPG without its version of player housing nowadays and RuneScape is no exception. Player housing has been there for quite some time, both in Old School RuneScape and RuneScape 3. A player can make their homes cosy by decorating their house however they wish, but decoration is just the surface of this concept. Players can add rooms, change the layout of their house and build a wide range of useful installments, like altars, for example. Jagex team working on RuneScape decided to expand on this concept and added player owned farms. These are somewhat similar to housing in principle but come with a vast array of new features!

Animals

Players can breed many different animals in their farms: chickens, rabbits, cows, yaks and even dragons! Yes, that’s no mistake – dragons! Different animals have different traits (good and sometimes bad) and those traits can be passed on to their offspring. Don’t be scared when you log in and check your farm and find that there is some weird looking rabbit or yak hanging around! These are a sort of mutation, a “rare version” of an animal not so special otherwise. These provide you with sweet bonuses, besides making your farm look like some fairy tale experimenting grounds. But as one wise man said, sweet bonuses come with sweat breaking responsibilities.

Chores

Just like in real world, certain animals will only consume certain type food. For example, you can’t feed your yaks meat or your dragons hay. Once you decide to become a farmer, know that you will also have to work like a serious farmer. You will have to feed your animals, but you will also have to do other things as well. Your animals can get sick and in that case you will have to inspect the sick animal, find out what it’s suffering from and then apply necessary treatment. Aspiring farmers will also have to deal with a ton of sh*t. Literally. Cleaning after your beloved creatures is as important as feeding and keeping them healthy and happy. If you didn’t know, the whole ecosystem is a huge and intricate cycle and Jagex did not forget about that. Though, in RuneScape this cycle is somewhat simplified, you can still benefit from it. What do we mean by that? The manure you collect while cleaning after your animals can be turned into compost which then can be used in your garden to grow herbs. At last, ultracompost was introduced also into RuneScape 3 (OSRS farmers have been enjoying the benefits of ultracompost for around a year now).

Rewards

Alongside the obvious benefits that taking care of your animals get you which, by the way, is a scientifically proven fact, doing chores in your farm will provide you with tremendous amount of farming experience, ingredients for special skilling potions and the most hard working farmers will also be able to claim a new outfit, which will scream at other players “I deal with a lot more manure daily than you do!”.

In case you don’t have enough coin to start your own farm, you can always buy some RuneScape gold from our shop. We’re all about helping out small businesses and giving them a leg up!

TOP 5 Strongest Bosses in Old School RuneScape

Many a mighty creature dwells in Gielinor, each more dangerous than the other. But which are the most dangerous ones? Which bosses in Old School RuneScape are the strongest?

Many a mighty creature dwells in Gielinor, each more dangerous than the other. But which are the most dangerous ones? Which bosses in Old School RuneScape are the strongest?

TOP 5 Strongest Bosses in Old School RuneScape

The more you like the game the more time you spend playing it. This can be a fun, relaxing experience, but sometimes even the most seasoned gaming veterans get bored of the games they like so much. When this happens you might want to look for some fresh and more challenging experience. Or it might be that you’re after making a fat bank? Whatever the reason, we present you the TOP 5 strongest creatures in Old School RuneScape!

Strongest OSRS boss number 5: Xarpus

This monster is the  weakest on the list, but it is still stronger than most of what you would encounter on Gielinor. At combat level of 960 it is a foe not to be trifled with. Sadly, Xarpus is also the last of it’s kind and was  captured and put into the Theatre of Blood to fight daring adventurers.  Never thought that Old School RuneScape would basically make players kill off a species…

Engagement: in the first phase Xarpus will try to heal  itself by exhuming skeletons that lay in the ground. Surprisingly,  players can temporarily stop the process by standing on top of the  exhumed corpses. The second phase is where the action begins. Xarpus  starts attacking players with strength he managed to gather. It uses  poison attacks against players. The spit splatters dealing little  damage, but standing on top of it’s landing point can be deadly. As  usual, avoid whatever the boss is throwing at you. During the third  phase which begins when Xarpus is around 1/4 of it’s health it screeches and instead of spitting stuff on players stares at some corner in the arena, one at a time. Players should not attack it from the direction Xarpus is currently looking at as it will retaliate and hurt the player badly.

Strongest OSRS boss number 4: Sotetseg

Another creature encountered in the Theatre of Blood, this bad dog (?) thing is somewhat of a trickster and magician, a being corrupted with Haemalchemy. It’s combat level is 995 and Sotetseg encounter is one of the more unique.

Engagement: Sotetseg himself physically does not attack anyone. Instead it just lies there in waiting, attacking adventurers from afar. The red projectiles he launches have to be blocked with protect from magic, while the small grey ones can be blocked with protect from missile. Once  the red projectile hits a player it shatters and ricochet towards other players in the form of grey ones. Failure to block these projectiles  will be “rewarded” with inability to pray for 5 seconds. From time to time, Sotetseg will fire a huge red projectile towards a single player. Unlike in most cases with bosses, this attack should not be avoided. On the contrary, adventurers should band around their targeted friend so that the damage would be divided among them (sharing is caring!). If  not, the friend will receive a lot of punishment. Once Sotetseg goes to 2/3 and later 1/3 of his hitpoints (full hp is 4000, do the math yourselves) the cunning beast will randomly put one adventurer into the shadow realm. There, the unlucky soul will have to race against time while following a red dotted path to the portal that would lead him back to the arena while at the same time taking damage. The rest of the party will have to do the same, just in the “normal” realm and without a portal. And to encourage them to run faster a red vortex will chase them and it will deal damage to the whole party if anyone is slow or clumsy enough to get in its way.

Strongest OSRS boss number 3: Great Olm

A large white  salamander is the strongest (combat level 1043) and the last boss in the  Old School RuneScape’s first raid the Chambers of Xeric and is Xeric’s  ultimate weapon. This boss has an exceptional variety of abilities  at his disposal – from fire to acid attacks and crystals  falling out the sky, the Great Olm can kill you in any imaginable way and adventurers best do some research before slaying the beast.

Engagement: there’s a lot going on with this boss and it would be best if you checked it all on OSRS wiki. General rule applies here as well, however –  stay out of special attacks and avoid stuff falling out of the sky! Watch out for his hands as well as they will give out what next attack will Great Olm use. Though there’s some rotation to his spells, it can be randomized with each different raid, but does not change during the raid itself.

Strongest OSRS boss number 2: TzKal-Zuk

The smoldering behemoth of the Inferno, this one is the second most powerful boss in Old School RuneScape with the combat level of 1400. Though being such a colossal being seemingly made of some sort of stone, he seems to not like tiny arrows much and adventurers better have some ranged weapons with them for this reason. Twisted Bow is the best of course and if you wish to partake in the killing of this rock giant you’ll have to either successfully loot the Twisted Bow from the first raid, Chamber of Xeric or straight out purchase it from the Grand Exchange. If you don’t have the bank, don’t worry, we’ll cover for you with cheap Old School RuneScape gold. Just say hello to Eric and he’ll get things moving.

Engagement: during the fight look out for a shield. The shield has 600 hitpoints and will protect you from raging magma hulk’s wrath. TzKal-Zuk’s attack’s might not kill you or even miss you entirely, but the RNG is so unpredictable that that wouldn’t be viewed as sound strategic decision. As any boss who takes themselves seriously, both in real life and in RuneScape, TzKal-Zuk has some very obedient minions. These are Jal-Xil and Jal-Zek. These are here to ruin your day and your shield, so make sure to take care of them as quickly as possible! Oh, and of course, at low health (240) TzKal-Zuk grows desperate and summons more minions. But these ones will heal him and also must be attacked as quickly as possible to interrupt the healing. Once interrupted, they’ll use an AoE attack in front of them, but knowing what good use you made of the shield by running behind it, it should be no problem. Completing Inferno which means also killing TzKal-Zuk is required to get the so sought-after inferno cape. That fabulous cape is probably one of the main reasons why our quester @ quest and minigame service has so much work!

Strongest OSRS boss number 1: Verzik Vitur

Probably an obvious one, this vampyre lady of the Theatre of Blood claims the first place  and for a few reasons. First, her combat level (1520) in her final form is the highest of all monsters currently inhabiting Gielinor. Second, even in her weakest form she is still more powerful than most other bosses. And third, of course, she’s the final boss of the new raid and she just has to be the strongest runescape boss yet. How else would you entertain the spectators and adventurers?

Engagement: first phase is  quite simple – players take the Dawnbringer as it is the only weapon  that can reliably damage her, then work as a team and run all together  as a unit behind the pillars to avoid her special attack. After sustaining some damage pillars collapse and all players must hide behind  a pillar together in order to be most efficient. Just don’t stand near  them when they finally collapse!

Second phase is where the fun  starts. Though, theoretically this phase could be passed without taking  damage, such cases are rare because it requires a lot of concentration  since there’s a lot going on there. However, mechanics are quite simple – attack, bombs, clear Verzik Vitur’s pets, repeat. Just keep in mind  that she has a variety of pets called nylocas and these nylocas do different things. Common nylocas are basically suicide bombers chasing  the player and then exploding if near them or after a set amount of  time, so they should be avoided. Other nylocas should be dispatched of as soon as possible. Third phase combines the charming elements of the previous two and the charming transformation of Verzik Vitur herself. She uses powerful attacks for players to dodge, summons her pets (pests). The  only new thing is that he shoots out a sick explosive web, which deals damage to the player entangled in it after a set amount of time. If you see a friend caught in it step in and help – he’ll thank you for it and your rewards will be greater because of better performance!

We hope this little bestiary of ours will help you greatly in dealing with the above-mentioned creatures. Make sure to check out our raids guide as there you may learn how to make a lot of OSRS gold besides getting the XP and simply having fun! It so happens that you feel overburdened with Runescape gold or are interested in making real money and do something you like doing so you can always sell it and turn it into real money – we’re here to help!

Theatre of Blood: Unique Rewards

Theatre of Blood is a new raid with amazing new rewards! New raid means that new pieces of equipment will be introduced in old school runescape – check out what unique weapons and armour await those who complete the raid.

Theatre of Blood is a new raid with amazing new rewards! New raid means that new pieces of equipment will be introduced in old school runescape – check out what unique weapons and armour await those who complete the raid.

Theatre of Blood: Unique Rewards

You can get many rewards by completing the second raid in old school runescape: the Theatre of Blood. Some of them are common items, like various herbs, materials and so on. Others, which we will shortly introduce here, are powerful unique rewards. Although the weapons do not contain the word “justiciar” (as armor does) items share the same visual theme and perfectly match together. Let’s begin with the weapons.

Weapons

Avernic defender

Avernic defender itself cannot be looted, instead you can create it by combining dragon defender with avernic defender hilt, which can be looted in the Theatre of Blood. You need 70 ATT and DEF to wield it.  Upon death below level 20 in Wilderness you will not lose this item, but you will have to repair it for 1 million runescape gold. Dying in above level 20 Wilderness will cause the killer to receive the same amount of gold.

Ghrazi rapier

This weapon can be looted and it requires 75 ATT to wield. It’s the best weapon when talking about strength and stab bonus ratio to speed. An all-rounder which does not require any sort of charge, perfectly suitable for 1v1 action, especially if the target is small.

Sanguinesti staff

This weapon requires 75 magic to wield. This staff cannot be used to autocast any other spell than that it already has and cannot be used against players in wilderness. It can hold up to 20k charges, 3 blood runes per cast, which means that to fully charge it you would have to spend around 12.5 m runescape gold. This one will make you feel like a vampyre yourself because it has 1 in 6 chance to heal you for half amount of damage dealt.

Scythe of vitur

A vicious two-handed weapon that requires 75 ATT and STR to wield. I can hit up to three enemies standing by one another and is also very proficient at killing large monsters. It has three attacks and can hit three targets. Using it to slay large enemies means that you can actually hit the same monster three times. Downside of this weapon is that damage of each consecutive hit is reduced by half (100%-50%-25%). This weapon also has to be charged. It has to be charged for 100 charges at once and these 100 charges need one vial of blood and 300 blood runes. To fully charge the weapon you would have to spend close to 13m gold coins.

Armour

Justiciar faceguard (looks more like a full helm if you ask me), justiciar chestguard and justiciar legguards all require the user to have 75 DEF to wear. Together, armour pieces form a full set of justiciar armour which has a set effect. It reduces all combat damage taken, unfortunately this effect does not work in PvP.

Overall, the whole armor set has a crusade-esque feel to it and resembles iconic paladin armour from other fantasy games. We know we didn’t cover everything, because, let’s be honest, some weeds and ores are not the reason you risk your life and enter the raid. However, if you wish to see the full list you can check out the runescape wiki. Should you feel like selling armour pieces or weapons you can do so and for a really big amount of gold. You can easily turn this gold into real money by selling your runescape gold to us and finally fulfill that promise you gave to your runescape girlfriend to take her on a real date! We wish you best of luck in the raid – purge all evil from the face of Gielinor, justiciars, until next time!

Overpriced item scam

Probably the most popular Runescape scam. Works both in Old School Runescape and EoC. Don't fall for it!

Probably the most popular Runescape scam. Works both in Old School Runescape and EoC. Don't fall for it!

Overpriced item scam

Today I will tell you about another scam that has huge potential even today. Although people have been using this scam for many years, it’s still active in both – OSRS and RS3. It has many shapes and forms and can be done in very creative ways. I will talk about a few methods to use this scam but if you ever decide to try it out, be creative. Being creative is what makes you RuneScape gold. Since I mainly play OSRS i will tell how it works in RS2007, but all of these principals can be applied in RuneScape 3 as well.

How it works:

The whole idea of this scam is to get people to buy your over priced items. These over priced items can range from clue rewards to uncommon items in the game. I won’t mention any uncommon items, but you can find overpriced clue scroll rewards in Old School RuneScape Wikia page. You can also use items that look similar, but their prices differ. A great example would be Torture amulet and Zanyte amulet. Both of these items look exactly the same, but Torture amulet costs 14m and Zanyte amulet is 21m.

Now, how do you get someone to buy these items from you?

This is where you get creative. One pretty good way to do that is to stand in the Grand exchange and say that you are doing a bank sale. Have a few good items in there and add a few bad items too. The person you will be trading will see how much the items you have put up are worth, but the thing is that the prices are based on the Grand exchange prices. That means, that if an item costs 100k in the Grand exchange, but you could actually buy the item for 10k, the trade window will still show that its worth 100k. So all you would have to do is tell the person to put up a little less than the price checker says the items are worth and hope he presses accept.

Another place you could use this scam is the Duel arena. Although i wouldn’t recommend doing that, because all the stakers are smart. Unless you find someone who isn’t a professional staker, this scam won’t work. The same principals apply while using it in the duel arena. Simply put up a few good items along with a few bad ones and hope that you get the stake. The only difference is that there’s a chance of losing the stake. But don’t worry, as long as you keep doing it, you will be making a profit in the end.

Another good way to sell over priced items is to stand in a busy area (GE won’t work) and spam that you are selling, let’s say, a Housidious banner for 1m. Get a friend to come near you, but far enough, that you couldn’t see him clearly and have him spam that he is buying a Housidious banner for say 2m. It could take some time, but soon enough someone will see this as an investment opportunity and buy the banner from your friend and once he does that, simply hop to another world and split all the RuneScape gold you made with your friend.

That’s pretty much it. It’s very simple, there are a lot of ways to do it and there’s a lot of OSRS gold and RS3 gold to be made. If you end up making a lot of RuneScape gold with this scam don’t forget to sell RuneScape gold to us. If you don’t have time for this, feel free to message our customer support and they will do their best to give you the best service and fastest delivery when you buy RS3 or buy OSRS gold.

Guide to finding a RuneScape Girlfriend

Buying gf? Need some help with that? Read this blog-post to find out the best ways you can get a gf in Runescape. You don't even have to have that much gold!

Buying gf? Need some help with that? Read this blog-post to find out the best ways you can get a gf in Runescape. You don't even have to have that much gold!

The ultimate guide for finding a RuneScape GF

I know what you’re thinking – RuneScape isn’t a dating site! But you’re absolutely wrong. RuneScape has been a dating site ever since I can remember. Even when I was in 5th grade I managed to buy my first rs gf for 10k rs gold. That was the best 10k I ever spent even though it took me a full day to get that much money. But enough about me, here in this blog I will teach you the best ways of getting a gf in RuneScape so here goes.

First of all, you have to know the best locations to find girls in rs. Personally, nine out of ten times I choose the Grand Exchange. While everyone is busy making RuneScape gold, merchanting all sorts of items and planning on how they’re going to get the next 99, I’m over there looking for female characters and chatting them up. Another great place to find girls is twitch streams, however, these girls usually have quite a big following and it will be quite difficult to get a girlfriend there. Twitch girls tend to have more than one rs bf but if that isn’t a problem, go for it! Lastly, you can find girls hanging around in skilling areas, usually chopping trees, fishing fishes, fletching at banks or, of course, cooking at a nearby stove.

Now that we have covered all the places you can find girls in RuneScape I will tell you the best tactis of seducing all these girls.

Grand exchange seduction tactics:

The most important thing while looking for girls in the grand exchange is your appearance. You have to look like you have a lot of rs gold. NEVER walk in to grand exchange looking like a scrub, because you will never get girls that chill at grand exchange if your fashionscape isn’t on point. Avoid wearing a dragon med helm, granite body or your beloved dragon long sword. If you can’t afford better gear, don’t worry fam, I got you, buy RuneScape gold from our rs gold shop and girls will start following you in no time. Bellow I will post a picture of how you should and shouldn’t dress. But I will tell you one thing right now. Grand exchange girls are all about how much rs gold you have, so if your pockets are deep, these girls are for you. All you have to do is look rich and simply say you’re looking for a gf and the more your outfit costs the better chance you have of getting the girl of your dreams.

 rs bot outfit

You will never get a RuneScape gf looking like this

3rd age longsword and other 3rd age equipment costs a fortune in OSRS gold.Fashionscape at its most affordable form.

This is your ideal outfit, it costs about 2b but girls dig it. The one on the right is way more affordable but still looks great. To get girls in ge your outfit needs to cost a minimum of 5m.

Twitch seduction tactics:

Getting a girl on twitch is a bit more complicated. Having a lot of RuneScape gold just won’t help. What you have to have is a lot of money in real life and donate a bit every stream you watch. Then simply defend the girl if someone in the twitch chat says something mean about her and before you know she will be chilling in your RuneScape house, cooking you pies and telling about that necklace from amazon that she always wanted.

Skiller girl seduction tactics:

Now, these girls are different. Sure, you have to have some rs gold, but in addition to that, you must also have high stats. She will never date a scrub that only has 50 herblore. If your total level is below 1000 don’t even bother starting a conversation, you’re better off buying RuneScape gold and getting yourself a GE gf. But if you take RuneScape seriously, then these are the girls for you. Now only will these girls have their own gold, they will also train skills with you, maybe even kill some bosses if she’s good enough.

There’s not much more to cover in this guide, just don’t be afraid to talk to them. But I’m pretty sure you’re not, after all, it’s only a game and it detaches you from the possibility of getting embarrassed. But I will give you one last tip – if you find yourself in an awkward situation, just add her to your ignore list and teleport away. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Hopefully this guide helps you get girls. If you find yourself short on osrs gold or rs3 gold be sure to use our services. We also offer osrs quest and minigame service, so if you need a fire cape for your fashion scape, or if you want some barrow gloves to impress a skiller girl, be sure to contact us.

1st Dragon claw pk

My first Dragon Claw pk back in year 2011. What a great time it was. I was pking every day and owning every noob who attacked me.

My first Dragon Claw pk back in year 2011. What a great time it was. I was pking every day and owning every noob who attacked me.

Everyone is excited about the release of dragon claws in OSRS and I’m no exception. I’ve been waiting for this update since the release of Old School Runescape and all this waiting is coming to its end. This Thursday, Dragon claws are finally going to be released! And since I can’t contain my excitement, I will share the story of how I pked my first pair of dragon claws back in the year 2011.

It was a boiling hot summer’s day and I was sitting at my desk in my underwear, sweating my balls out and casually playing Runescape. This day seemed like any other day, I was flipping items using the Grand Exchange and while I was waiting for my offers to complete I was pking. My regular pk gear was kind of cheap. I used to wear rag gear like black d’hide chaps, black d’hide vambraces, black d’hide body, amulet of power, snakeskin boots, a coif, ring of recoil and a magic shortbow with saradomin arrows and I was pissing off rushers. I had 99 magic and 99 range and my defense level was 40 so at level 86 combat I was one of the strongest rune pures around.  I would spend most of my days pking and marching but this day was different. This was the day of my first of many dragon claws pk.

I was standing in wilderness, protecting the innocent pkers from the not so innocent rushers by attacking the rushers whenever they tried to go in for the kill. I saved quite a few runescape lifes that day and protected people from losing their hard earned gold. But little did I know, the rushers were plotting on my death. One of them had enough of my heroic actions and decided to end my runescape career by assassinating me with his dragon claws. Little did he know I had a few tricks up my sleeve. Firstly I must mention, that the world I was pking in was no simple world, you couldn’t use protect items here and upon death every single item would be lost. Secondly, I had vengeance spell activated and I was ready to cast it again once I was attacked. I was ready for whatever was coming my way.

I was standing still, waiting for the dragon claw rusher to make a move. I saw him drink his potions. He was confident he would get the kill. I saw him running at me and I knew this was go time. He hit me and broke my vengeance and in a blink of an eye, half of my hp was gone. I didn’t panic, I activated my vengeance once more and I used a magic short bow special attack. He hit me again and he killed me! But killing me had its price. In the process of killing me he died aswell. I spawned in Lumbridge and my whole body was shaking. I just pked a pair of dragon claws and I had a minute to get to the spot that my opponent died in order to collect them. I knew what I had to do, so I rushed to the bank, grabbed a glory and teleported to Edgvile as fast as I could. I rushed to the location of my opponents remains just in time to loot every single valuable item he lost. Unfortunately I didn’t make a screenshot of the loot on the ground because I wasn’t sure if I would make it in time to pick the items up, but once I was out of the wilderness I made a screenshot of the loot. Here is the picture.

my 1st dragon claw pk

I was ecstatic! This was one of the happiest moments of my runescape career and within a few months I pked a total of 30 dragon claws. I made so much runescape gold pking I would constantly sell rs gold to gold shops and I made quite a bit of money at the time.

I hoped you enjoyed this story as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you. I have a few more pking stories I will share in the future and there is a possibility that once the dragon claws are released in OSRS I will get to relive the experience of the first dragon claw pk now in Old School Runescape. With all the new weapon and armor releases in 2007scape you may be short of runescape gold. So if youre looking to buy cheap osrs gold, aswell as rs3 gold, be sure to use our shop because we offer the best gold prices in the market.

The ‘my main is in camelot’ RS scam

This scam was quite recent in Runescape. It’s peaked right before the grand exchange update and I saw hundreds of people everyday trying to scam my merchanting bots to make some free gold.

This scam was quite recent in Runescape. It’s peaked right before the grand exchange update and I saw hundreds of people everyday trying to scam my merchanting bots to make some free gold.

Simple scam for an easy money

The whole idea of this scam was to get you to trade your items in exchange of a teleport tab. This scam work principle was very simple. The scammer would trade you and then he would ask to see what you were selling. Then they would start chating with you for a bit. They did that hoping you would forget you even put your items up in the first place. Then they would put a teleport tab up in the trade, and say that their main is in camelot and they would like you to meet them there so they could buy your items.

Free items from distracted people

This scam seems dull at first but it prayed on tired people and on people who lose focus quickly so surprisingly it worked quite well. When I was training magic in Camelot, world 302, I would see a lot of people walking around the teleport spot looking for the supposed customers to buy their items just to realise they were scammed. The reactions were priceless and most of them could not believe they got scammed.

Today this method still can be used to make quick free RS millions

This scam could still be applied today, however due to Grand Exchange people shy away from trading so its harder to convince someone to even trade with you. Today, people who use this scam have a different approach. They will stand in the Grand Exchange spamming a message like ‘spending 200m gold’ and then, when people trade them, they would apply the same principle – negotiate the price, ask a few questions, get the person distracted and then just put up a teleport tab in the trade and hope they will accept the trade.

There has been thousands of scams trough out Runescape history. Some people scam to make rs gold, some scam just for fun and others scam just because they got scammed. Doesn’t matter which game you play – rs3 or osrs, I guarantee that you’ve ran into at least a few scams in your runescape career and probably lost or made money out due to scams. Here in this blog we will talk about all the scams that we have seen ourselves or heard from our friends. For the first article we had an interview with an old Runescape scammer Chris.

It’s a popular method for an easy gold making

Me: So, Chris, tell us about your beginning as a scammer, why did you choose this path?

Chris: As first, I won’t lie, I’ve been scammed so many times, it’s embarrassing but it all happened when I was a kid and didn’t know better. I guess those losses made me sad and I just wanted to get back my gold as soon as possible. Years passed, I have learnt from my mistakes and started using the same scams that were used on me and I didn’t even notice how I started making real life money from Runescape by selling the gold I made. My scamming career was over pretty quick because I found way more profitable ways to make money on runescape like pking or botting or merching.

Chris story of earning money by scamming

Me: Can you tell us more about your work principles?

Chris: As I remember, the last time I scammed was back in 2006. The scam I used was very basic and I learned how to pull it off when I got scammed. I was buying some big bones near the Varrock west bank back in the year 2006 and I bought a bunch of bones instead, because in noted form they look quite similar to big bones. I was pretty upset but I figured I could just sell them to someone else for the price of big bones and buy myself the bones I need. Regular bones were like 100-120 gp each at a time while big bones were anywhere between 350 and 450 gp. I always saw myself as a honest guy so the way I justified scamming was that I always wrote that I was selling bones, but I said I was selling them for 350 gp so people would usually just look at the price and buy them anyway.

Why Chris get rid of scamming and moved on to legal methods of making real money

Me: Does it was profitable for you?

Chris: Needless to say I got banned like 3 times for doing that I still made a bunch of money, because right after I got rid of the bones that I got when I first got scammed I simply started buying regular bones for 120gp and selling them for 350 within a few hours. At the time I had no idea what an auto typer was so I would spend 6 to 12 hours a day just standing by the Varrock west bank and spamming the same message over and over again just to make some Runescape gold. But it all was worth it because I made like 150 euros just in a week of doing so by selling the runescape gold I made to some kids I met on a runescape forum. 150 euros may not seem like much but it was a reasonable amount of money for a 12 year old kid. But as I said I quickly moved on to botting because it was less work and way more profitable. I could make way more RS gold in shorter periods of time and I wouldn’t have to spend so much time at the computer.
