RuneScape will be receiving a new update which this time will include introduction of a new elite dungeon: the Dragonkin Laboratory!

Runescape 3 Elite Dungeon 2: The Dragonkin Laboratory

Since Jagex released the first raid it was really well received by the community and also added a great adventure to the ever expanding world. Raids are somewhat difficult and require a lot of cooperation. They require 10 people to fight together as one  and a lot of gold for their equipment. Let’s be honest: not all of us can arrange our schedules so that a group of ten friends can play together. In order to provide content to a wider spectrum of players, Jagex introduced a new type of content – Elite Dungeons. These are faster-paced dungeons which don’t require that many players to form a party (it’s possible to do them solo too). The first such dungeon released was Temple of Aminishi and now we’re receiving a new one: The Dragonkin Laboratory. So let’s see what it’s about without much spoilers.

Requiremets to enter the Dragonkin Laboratory

The Dragonkin Laboratory’s location is in the north-eastern part of the Wilderness and you can get there in a few ways:

1.You can simply take a stress-intensive stroll through the Wilderness

2.You can purchase teleports from Daemonheim elite dungeon reward shop

3.You can safely teleport there via grouping system, so PvP allergic players will not have to risk their precious belongings falling into the hands of more aggressive fellow adventurers.

Elite Dungeon 2: The Dragonkin Laboratory location.

As you can see, it’s in the Wilderness and can be accessed in a variety of ways including simply walking there.

In order to be able to access this dungeon you have to have completed Elite Dungeon: the Temple of Aminishi. Even those who have completed it on story mode will be able to access the Dragonkin Laboratory, so no one is left behind. There’s also a banker hanging around the entrance to the dungeon who does not have any special requirements for those interested in his services and that means that you’ll be able to fetch those supplies you might have forgotten without additional hassle or you can claim your equipment if you decided to run to the dungeon across the Wilderness naked and in addition to that, players will receive some bonus from an NPC there – that’s game developers’ way of apologising for the delay (dungeon was supposed to be released on July 23rd 2018).

Dragonkin Laboratory Layout

Unlike the previous elite dungeon, the Temple of Aminishi, Dragonkin Laboratory is not divided into layers and is consisted of one single map. The progression is linear and sections of the dungeon are separated by magic walls which disappear after all the mobs in an area are eliminated. The dungeon itself has draconish feel to it, both in regards to some architecture and the fiery environment full of lava lakes, pits and falls and between all those you will find lorebooks which will tell a part of the story behind the dungeon.

Monsters in Dragonkin Laboratory

As one could expect, most of the enemies encountered in Dragonkin Laboratory are dragons. Different types of dragons have different mechanics so be prepared to use different tactics when fighting different kinds of dragons. For example, Celestial Dragons which you will meet in the dungeon can go back in time thus healing themselves. This mechanic can be countered by stunning them. Most of the monsters in the dungeon are also slayer tasks, which don’t have a slayer requirement and are an excellent way to farm slayer XP. Boss encounters will differ from boss to boss, so you’ll have to rely on your improvising skills to defeat them in the most efficient way possible. With new dungeon also comes a cute new pet you will be able to add to your collection as well as a lot of awesome loot of which you can see some on Twitter.

One of the bosses found in the Dragonkin Laboratory. Beware, this one’s quite crazy and powerful!

Overall, I guess we’re all excited to see this dungeon go live! Since this is new content some changes might take place as it almost always does. Game developers might decide to rebalance things or introduce some new small details. Make sure to always know where this is going by checking on forums. For know, of course, some topics might be little empty, but imagine the buzz once the Dragonkin Laboratory is out there!

Old School RuneScape PvP Update and In-game Collection Log

The newest OSRS update includes so much needed utility with looting bags and other features for PvP players.

The newest OSRS update includes so much needed utility with looting bags and other features for PvP players.

Old School RuneScape PvP Update and In-game Collection Log

On August 9th Jagex launched a new update which may be important for a lot of people who are mostly PKing in OSRS: upgraded looting bag functionality, PID (player id) channges and bounty hunter targets. There’s also talk about upcoming in-game collection log. It was not realeased with this update (as you probably noticed) but there has been made significant developments. We’ll give you a short recap:

Looting Bags

Lootings bags, although very useful, sometimes became a nuisance as well, especially when you had a lot of items to manage. Now, by selecting „Open” option you will make all of your new items to go straight into the looting bag. Close the bag and items will go into your inventory instead.

PID Change

Player ID’s do not seem to play that much of a significant role in OSRS as they did back in RuneScape Classic, they still have their uses and Jagex has introduced some changes here as well. On PvP, tournament world and Bounty Hunter PID’s will randomize more almost three times more often (24 to 36 seconds instead earlier 60 to 90 seconds). More changes are possible.

Bounty Hunter

Those coin-thirsty bounty hunters now will have an option to increase or decrease their risk by toggling whether they want receive targets in above level 10 Wilderness or not.

Collection Log

As mentioned earlier, collection log has not been released, but we can already see how it may look like. Collection log will make it easier to boast to your friends about some of your achievements and we estimate that it will boost self-esteem also, as it will be easier for players to trigger their memories of legendary adventures. Collection log currently is separated into four categories: bosses, raids, clues, other. Slayer might become a fifth tab (a bit strange that they didn’t include it by default). Note that collection log will keep track of significant items and in the future might also have more functions, like tracking the source of a specific item. Since this feature is still in the making you can make your suggestions and address them to Mod Lenny by tweeting him. Don’t remain silent if you think your idea is good and other players will find it useful too!

Collection Log in OSRS. You can see the general idea how items will be sorted.

This is just a shortened version of the recent update. You can check the full and more detailed list of updates. One feature of the collection log is the ability for other players to see your collection, so if you feel like you need an additional item to get bragging rights, don’t hesitate to buy some RuneScape gold and get that item you always wanted – we’re here to help!

Old School Runescape Update: Revenant Cave Rewards and Troll Quest Announcement

New Old School RuneScape update brings something new into something old, very, very old, ancient actually – the Revenant Caves. Check out what new items reckless (or, perhaps, calculating?) risk takers can get and also always check your local polling booth!

New Old School RuneScape update brings something new into something old, very, very old, ancient actually – the Revenant Caves. Check out what new items reckless (or, perhaps, calculating?) risk takers can get and also always check your local polling booth!

Old School Runescape Update: Revenant Cave Rewards and Troll Quest Announcement

A new update in the middle of the summer brings with it new items. In addition to that, there‘s talk of a new quest coming (Troll Quest). New revenant cave rewards is welcome news to all gambling types, since their main function is to kill monsters dwelling in the Wilderness. Why gambling? Well, it‘s painfully obvious – Wilderness has many dangers besides monster that inhabit the wasteland and the biggest danger of them all is none other than your fellow adventurer. So those who like to try out their luck and risk big for big rewards will now have new tools at their disposal. But we‘re getting carried away, let’s see what these items are.

Craw‘s bow

Despite the misleading name, it‘s not a crossbow, but a shortbow and was uses by Craw, one of the warriors who fought in the God Wars. As we‘re talking about Revenant Cave Rewards it‘s no surprise that this item, alongside others, is looted in Revenant Cave. Its bonuses are identical to the magic shortbow, however, same as crystal bow it has its own ammo. To activate the bow you will need 1000 revenant ether and additional 1000 to get the 50% accuracy and damage bonus. 1 shot consumes 1 revenant ether regardless if it hits or misses. Death will make all revenant ether to be dropped, even if the weapon itself is one of your protected items.

Viggora’s chainmace

Unlike its elegant ranged counterpart, Viggora’s chainmace surely looks vicious and dangerous, thus perfectly fitting the Wilderness and Revenant Caves. This weapon requires adventurer to be advanced to level 60 in attack and has similar stats as dragon scimitar, but as you can tell from its looks, Viggora’s chainmace is a crush weapon instead of slash. You would 1000 revenant ether charges only to use the weapon and another 1000 to enjoy a 50% melee accuracy and damage bonus. Similar to Craw’s bow, one hit consumes one revenant ether. For item to be tradable all stored ether must be removed.

Thammaron’s scepter

Another devilish weapon requires you to have magic level 60 to wield it. It has the same bonuses as master wand, but cannot autocast ancient magicks. Same deal as before, you need 1000 revenant ether to charge this weapon and another 1000 revenant ether to activate 100% magic accuracy and 25% magic damage bonus and it consumes 1 ether per attack.

Amulet of avarice

Now this one really captures what Wilderness is all about: death (item looks) and greed (the name). Amulet of avarice has the same bonuses as amulet of glory. But amulet of avarice is special in that it will make you permanently skulled. Upside of wearing it is that all items received from monsters in the Revenant Caves will be instantly turned into bank notes. Once you take off the amulet, the skull will hang heavy above your head for another 20 minutes. Now that’s really a must-have item for any happy-go-lucky adventurer!

Making Friends with My Arm

A new addition to already substantial quest list was announced and might make it to the game. The trick is that it will have to pass a poll, which it probably will, but while you’re on your summer holiday don’t let the holiday mood get into your head too much and perform the duty of a responsible citizen and cast your vote! It counts!

As always, we hope you enjoyed reading this. Do check out Revenant Cave Rewards and Troll Quest Announcement. Also, the items on the list, well, they’re costly. And if you wish to be the first one to get them or simply can’t spare time to grind you can always buy runescape gold fast and easy. Until next time!

TOP 5 Strongest Bosses in Old School RuneScape

Many a mighty creature dwells in Gielinor, each more dangerous than the other. But which are the most dangerous ones? Which bosses in Old School RuneScape are the strongest?

Many a mighty creature dwells in Gielinor, each more dangerous than the other. But which are the most dangerous ones? Which bosses in Old School RuneScape are the strongest?

TOP 5 Strongest Bosses in Old School RuneScape

The more you like the game the more time you spend playing it. This can be a fun, relaxing experience, but sometimes even the most seasoned gaming veterans get bored of the games they like so much. When this happens you might want to look for some fresh and more challenging experience. Or it might be that you’re after making a fat bank? Whatever the reason, we present you the TOP 5 strongest creatures in Old School RuneScape!

Strongest OSRS boss number 5: Xarpus

This monster is the  weakest on the list, but it is still stronger than most of what you would encounter on Gielinor. At combat level of 960 it is a foe not to be trifled with. Sadly, Xarpus is also the last of it’s kind and was  captured and put into the Theatre of Blood to fight daring adventurers.  Never thought that Old School RuneScape would basically make players kill off a species…

Engagement: in the first phase Xarpus will try to heal  itself by exhuming skeletons that lay in the ground. Surprisingly,  players can temporarily stop the process by standing on top of the  exhumed corpses. The second phase is where the action begins. Xarpus  starts attacking players with strength he managed to gather. It uses  poison attacks against players. The spit splatters dealing little  damage, but standing on top of it’s landing point can be deadly. As  usual, avoid whatever the boss is throwing at you. During the third  phase which begins when Xarpus is around 1/4 of it’s health it screeches and instead of spitting stuff on players stares at some corner in the arena, one at a time. Players should not attack it from the direction Xarpus is currently looking at as it will retaliate and hurt the player badly.

Strongest OSRS boss number 4: Sotetseg

Another creature encountered in the Theatre of Blood, this bad dog (?) thing is somewhat of a trickster and magician, a being corrupted with Haemalchemy. It’s combat level is 995 and Sotetseg encounter is one of the more unique.

Engagement: Sotetseg himself physically does not attack anyone. Instead it just lies there in waiting, attacking adventurers from afar. The red projectiles he launches have to be blocked with protect from magic, while the small grey ones can be blocked with protect from missile. Once  the red projectile hits a player it shatters and ricochet towards other players in the form of grey ones. Failure to block these projectiles  will be “rewarded” with inability to pray for 5 seconds. From time to time, Sotetseg will fire a huge red projectile towards a single player. Unlike in most cases with bosses, this attack should not be avoided. On the contrary, adventurers should band around their targeted friend so that the damage would be divided among them (sharing is caring!). If  not, the friend will receive a lot of punishment. Once Sotetseg goes to 2/3 and later 1/3 of his hitpoints (full hp is 4000, do the math yourselves) the cunning beast will randomly put one adventurer into the shadow realm. There, the unlucky soul will have to race against time while following a red dotted path to the portal that would lead him back to the arena while at the same time taking damage. The rest of the party will have to do the same, just in the “normal” realm and without a portal. And to encourage them to run faster a red vortex will chase them and it will deal damage to the whole party if anyone is slow or clumsy enough to get in its way.

Strongest OSRS boss number 3: Great Olm

A large white  salamander is the strongest (combat level 1043) and the last boss in the  Old School RuneScape’s first raid the Chambers of Xeric and is Xeric’s  ultimate weapon. This boss has an exceptional variety of abilities  at his disposal – from fire to acid attacks and crystals  falling out the sky, the Great Olm can kill you in any imaginable way and adventurers best do some research before slaying the beast.

Engagement: there’s a lot going on with this boss and it would be best if you checked it all on OSRS wiki. General rule applies here as well, however –  stay out of special attacks and avoid stuff falling out of the sky! Watch out for his hands as well as they will give out what next attack will Great Olm use. Though there’s some rotation to his spells, it can be randomized with each different raid, but does not change during the raid itself.

Strongest OSRS boss number 2: TzKal-Zuk

The smoldering behemoth of the Inferno, this one is the second most powerful boss in Old School RuneScape with the combat level of 1400. Though being such a colossal being seemingly made of some sort of stone, he seems to not like tiny arrows much and adventurers better have some ranged weapons with them for this reason. Twisted Bow is the best of course and if you wish to partake in the killing of this rock giant you’ll have to either successfully loot the Twisted Bow from the first raid, Chamber of Xeric or straight out purchase it from the Grand Exchange. If you don’t have the bank, don’t worry, we’ll cover for you with cheap Old School RuneScape gold. Just say hello to Eric and he’ll get things moving.

Engagement: during the fight look out for a shield. The shield has 600 hitpoints and will protect you from raging magma hulk’s wrath. TzKal-Zuk’s attack’s might not kill you or even miss you entirely, but the RNG is so unpredictable that that wouldn’t be viewed as sound strategic decision. As any boss who takes themselves seriously, both in real life and in RuneScape, TzKal-Zuk has some very obedient minions. These are Jal-Xil and Jal-Zek. These are here to ruin your day and your shield, so make sure to take care of them as quickly as possible! Oh, and of course, at low health (240) TzKal-Zuk grows desperate and summons more minions. But these ones will heal him and also must be attacked as quickly as possible to interrupt the healing. Once interrupted, they’ll use an AoE attack in front of them, but knowing what good use you made of the shield by running behind it, it should be no problem. Completing Inferno which means also killing TzKal-Zuk is required to get the so sought-after inferno cape. That fabulous cape is probably one of the main reasons why our quester @ quest and minigame service has so much work!

Strongest OSRS boss number 1: Verzik Vitur

Probably an obvious one, this vampyre lady of the Theatre of Blood claims the first place  and for a few reasons. First, her combat level (1520) in her final form is the highest of all monsters currently inhabiting Gielinor. Second, even in her weakest form she is still more powerful than most other bosses. And third, of course, she’s the final boss of the new raid and she just has to be the strongest runescape boss yet. How else would you entertain the spectators and adventurers?

Engagement: first phase is  quite simple – players take the Dawnbringer as it is the only weapon  that can reliably damage her, then work as a team and run all together  as a unit behind the pillars to avoid her special attack. After sustaining some damage pillars collapse and all players must hide behind  a pillar together in order to be most efficient. Just don’t stand near  them when they finally collapse!

Second phase is where the fun  starts. Though, theoretically this phase could be passed without taking  damage, such cases are rare because it requires a lot of concentration  since there’s a lot going on there. However, mechanics are quite simple – attack, bombs, clear Verzik Vitur’s pets, repeat. Just keep in mind  that she has a variety of pets called nylocas and these nylocas do different things. Common nylocas are basically suicide bombers chasing  the player and then exploding if near them or after a set amount of  time, so they should be avoided. Other nylocas should be dispatched of as soon as possible. Third phase combines the charming elements of the previous two and the charming transformation of Verzik Vitur herself. She uses powerful attacks for players to dodge, summons her pets (pests). The  only new thing is that he shoots out a sick explosive web, which deals damage to the player entangled in it after a set amount of time. If you see a friend caught in it step in and help – he’ll thank you for it and your rewards will be greater because of better performance!

We hope this little bestiary of ours will help you greatly in dealing with the above-mentioned creatures. Make sure to check out our raids guide as there you may learn how to make a lot of OSRS gold besides getting the XP and simply having fun! It so happens that you feel overburdened with Runescape gold or are interested in making real money and do something you like doing so you can always sell it and turn it into real money – we’re here to help!

Runescape Bugs

Everyone who has ever played even a bit of computer games knows how frustrating it is not only to fight virtual opponents but also the game itself because it has bugs. In this post we will look at some of more interesting, impactful or outright game-breaking bugs in Old School Runescape and Runescape 3.

Everyone who has ever played even a bit of computer games knows how frustrating it is not only to fight virtual opponents but also the game itself because it has bugs. In this post we will look at some of more interesting, impactful or outright game-breaking bugs in Old School Runescape and Runescape 3.

Runescape Bugs

Today we’re going to share some of more impactful runescape bugs (also called glitches) with you. For those who don’t know what a bug is – it’s an error of some sort in game code which has unintended effect. Some of these bugs are just purely graphical, some texture is missing or is not rendering properly or an object has weird color for some reason. These graphics glitches include NPC’s standing on top of one another or objects appear to be merged etc. We will not be focusing on those now, because in most cases they’re a reason for a few laughs and nothing more. Some bugs are just annoying (when the game crashes when a player performs a specific action, for example). More intriguing and dangerous and also in most cases widely abused are bugs those that benefit bug abusers in a variety of ways. And these runescape bugs that are game-changing and imensely damaging will be our topic for today.

OSRS Max Cash Stack Bug

OSRS max cash stack bug is the most recent OSRS bug that basically anyone who’s not living under a rock has heard about. After the last pickpocketing related update and changes that came with it, stackable items like runes, arrows etc. upon player’s death, when dropped, turned into max cash stack (2147M runescape gold!). This bug was quite easily detectable and Jagex got the wind of it soon enough. But players, of course, were faster and there were some who would PK one another near Edgeville, loot the max cash stack, bank it and then run back again before anyone else looted the gold or before the gold disappeared. This bug was caused by a code in the newest patch. The bug had potential to ruin the whole Old School Runescape economy and we’re glad that Jagex reacted quickly. Their response, however, was not only lightening fast, but the approach to this issue was also unique. Basically, the game developers had two choices – delete all the gold generated because of this bug by hand, which, obviously, would have taken a tremendous amount of time and effort or reroll the game. We all know that they chose rerolling now, but this was never done in runescape’s history, at least on such scale. Usually bug abusers would just get banned, bugs patched up and that’s it.

Stall Break Bug

Stall is a condition when a player is put in a sort of “stasis” and cannot perform any actions. Player is put into this stasis when they’re in a cutscene or their character is locked in some sort of animation, like dying. This does not allow the player to perform any actions – no spell casting, no teleporting and so on. Players found a way to break this stasis and by doing so they would avoid death. The character then turns into a sort of undead (not literally, of course), neither dead nor alive. This allowed bug abusers to run around with 0 hp and they could not be killed by any means. When other players targeted these bug abusers in the Duel Arena they would only get a message saying that they’re targeting an invalid object. Imagine yourself getting into an arena fight with one of these bug abusers, especially if the stakes are high and then realizing that they cannot be killed. You either die or forfeit i.e. you get no chances of winning. It must have really been painful for the victims of the bug to stand there and witness the futility of the situation. Some of these bug abusers earned a lot of runescape gold which some later turned into real money.

The “I’m logged out – NOT!” Bug

Corp non-interfaced forced log out bug is quite similar in its application to the stall break bug. The difference was that this runescape bug could only be abused in Corp’s area. The bug made the game register the player as logged out, but actually they were up and running, lively as ever, killing anything in their path. In addition to immortality bug abusers would also get infinite prayer and could run Corp indefinitely without dying. This was one of the more lucrative runescape bugs and we can only speculate how much money bug abusers made by selling runescape gold.

Rat Pits Dupe

This bug was first discovered and made public in Runescape 3, but later the very same bug was found in OldShcool Runescape as well. It took two weeks until the bug was fixed. Bug abusers found a way to get gold in rat cather’s minigame after completing the quest. Two players would manage to abuse game’s mechanics and the game registered them as forfeited. There were even players who would run bots to abuse this bug. Although, this bug does not seem as impressive as the previous one which bestowed invincibility upon players, it had the potential to generate more runescape gold per hour than Corp bug. It had a devastating and long-lasting effect not only on game’s economy, but also on such runescape gold sites as ourselves, by nearly halving the price of gold and making the lives of gold sellers that much harder.

Botwatch Gone Rogue

This one is special in a way that this was Jagex abusing players in away, rather than players abusing the game. Jagex updated their bot detection system called Botwatch in hopes of catching more bots. Instead, the flawed program mistook innocent players for bots and banned them with no chance to appeal, thus hurting a lot of people. Those who were not botting also received warnings to stop their “malicious” activities. In addition, this runescape bug caused players to be unable to drop items on the ground. During the time Botwatch was running rampant (sounds a lot like another AI-exterminating-humans movie plot) around 40,000 players were banned. Later, Jagex apologized to everyone, unbanned affected people’s accounts and provided a compensation for those eliminated by the merciless and buggy bot detection system. Players must have really been shocked getting back from school or work, sitting by their computer to relax and play their favorite game only to find out they were banned for doing nothing that would be considered as rule-breaking.

We hope you enjoyed reading this and learned something interesting or new. We, in no way, condone bug abusing and if you ever find a Old School Runescape bug or Runescape 3 bug, please report it as soon as you can. Even in cases when you yourself did not find a bug but rather heard about one from a friend or clanmate report it anyway, because even if you yourself are not a bug abuser and will not get banned, bug abusing can have an immense negative effect on you, the community and the game itself. Just imagine how you would feel after selling a very expensive item for, let’s say, a 100 million runescape gold, only to find out that that 100 million is worth nothing the next day.

OSRS Mobile is OUT!

The long awaited OSRS Mobile is finally here! Make sure to learn what you need about it and don't miss out on the action!

The long awaited OSRS Mobile is finally here! Make sure to learn what you need about it and don't miss out on the action!

OSRS Mobile is out!

The long anticipated OSRS Mobile version is finally out! After almost a year since the announcement of runescape going mobile it’s finally here. There’s a lot going on here and one can easily get lost in this labyrinth of information. Therefore, we’ve made a summary of what do you need to know about OSRS Mobile – we know how tedious it can be to read every update log there is!

Currently the game is in beta version and players are testing it out. Runescape player base was kept waiting for a long time. If you still haven’t done so, you can download the game for Android now. By the way, in order to play in open beta you have to be a member. If you wish to play runescape on your mobile device but for whatever reason you cannot afford a membership you can always get a quick fix of coins by buying cheap runescape gold fast and easy! Times of being bored to death during your daily commute are over!

Closed beta

OSRS Mobile had encountered a few bumps along the road, hence the delay. But you know what they say – better late than never! There’s a lot of positive feedback already and those who got the opportunity to enter Gielinor via their mobile devices during closed beta are overall satisfied. In this article we’ll shortly discuss what problems Jagex encountered, how did they solve (or are solving) them as well as what positive feedback players gave and overall functionality of the game.

What took it so long

First reason for the delay was that as developers stated themselves is that this turned out to be a bigger challenge than they first thought in general. Since those guys are ambitious and are doing a real cross-platform game which means that mobile players will be playing the same exact game on same worlds together with desktop players and not just some watered-down second-grade version of the game we all appreciate and love so much, they have to implement quite a few new functionalities for mobile version to make the game enjoyable. Additionally, they still struggle making OSRS Mobile available and smoothly operational on iOS. Now, game developers didn’t explicitly state what the actual problem there is with iOS apart from the process of being approved by Apple App Store and it still being “under development”. From the information we’ve got it appears that the game is unstable on iOS. It is well known that all app developers have issues with iOS because of Apple’s policy in regards to how accessible their core code is to other parties. So those of you who use Apple devices will have to be a little bit more patient. Good news is that development is underway and Jagex will give the community an update later this Summer. As for Android users, you can check out what’s happening on reddit topic OSRS Mobile: Android Members Beta.

OSRS Mobile Controls

Second reason can be simply described as “a lack of mouse”. Although, runescape is one of less intense games it still heavily relies on clicking with both right and left mouse buttons as well as hovering over objects to see what clicking on them will do or to get a tooltip. As you can imagine, hovering over objects is out of question on mobile but developers stated that they are planning to find a solution for this before full launch. It’s a good thing that developers are reacting to players’ feedback and since closed beta have made some changes related to clicking. One of such changes is that on mobile you can’t actually “right-click”. However, tapping on screen and holding your finger for a while now does the same as right-clicking objects with mouse. Now, this can still be an issue when depositing items in bank. To counter this, Jagex implemented new buttons on bank interface so that players could deposit up to 50 items at once. This new function will be added to shops too so players could buy and sell items with ease. Similarly, a “drop mode” will be introduced. It will work the same way shift-click works on desktop. You will just turn on drop mode, click on an item or items and then, after you’re done troll drop-partying, you switch drop mode off. We hope that you won’t accidentally drop your Twisted Bow like this! Casting spells and using prayers can still be a bit problematic – they are so close to each other on the interface that when using such a small device as a mobile phone there’s a real risk of tapping on multiple spells and prayers at once (if you think this can happen only to someone clumsy know that not all of us have fingers of a pianist!). Manipulating the camera can also be a weird and awkward experience. Dedicated veteran players didn’t have much difficulty with that but newer players or those who have less time to spend in Gielinor generally struggle.

Convenient OSRS Mobile features

As always, Jagex is mindful of the player base and has already made some fixes. They also into account players’ feedback and requests. One of such requests was to make a customizable UI for OSRS Mobile and game developers stated that they will keep this in mind and players can expect to see such a feature implemented in the future. And another is that in the future you won’t have to write your login details by hand every time you wish to play OSRS Mobile – the game will remember your credentials and this will be valid for the next 30 days. The best part is that if you log in at least once a month this period will always extended by another 30 days!

Mobile data consumption

Those of you who have followed the news related to OSRS Mobile since the announcement have probably come across some info on mobile data consumption. And, at least at first, a shocking number of 103MB per hour was given by Jagex! After more testing it is clear that this will not be the case and it’s estimated to eat up somewhere 500kb to 2MB of your precious data plan per hour. Now that’s a relief, am I right? Game client size has increased, though, and is now around 100MB, which is, by the way, subject to change. With current phones and memory cards whose memory is measured in gigabytes this shouldn’t be a problem anyway, not for a Gielinorian like yourself!

How will OSRS Mobile affect gold market

We already witness what OSRS Mobile hype is doing to the game. Currently there’s a lot of players trying out the game’s mobile version and spending more time playing it. Imagine what will happen when the finished version of comes out! Having in mind how big is the hype at the moment, it’s quite safe to speculate that there’ll be an influx of new players who will find new platform more attractive than desktop, as well as veterans who now will be able to spend more time than they already do. That’s what was intended after all and Jagex has also stated that they are fully aware of this and are prepared to launch more game worlds if they deem it necessary. We all know how basic economics work – supply and demand. And more players means more demand, which leads to less supply which then leads to higher gold prices. It doesn’t matter, if you’re an old player or new, it wouldn’t hurt to rack up your gold supply by purchasing cheap OSRS gold while, well, it’s still cheap.

We hope that you will enjoy playing OSRS Mobile! This move by Jagex to introduce a mobile version of the game seems more than logical – not only to gain a stronger footing in the gaming industry, but also because originally the game was made with accessability and availability in mind. Some of you might not remember this, but in the beginning Runescape was played directly via browser only with no need of any kind of download or installation; this made a lot of office jobs less boring 🙂 Make sure to follow OSRS Mobile on Twitter to be the first one to learn of anything new. We would also suggest you post any issue you encounter on the forums. That would benefit everyone: you, game developers and, of course, fellow players! We left best for the end and that is actual OSRS Mobile gameplay by Jakeyosaurus taking on Jad himself!

Theatre of Blood is a new raid with amazing new rewards! New raid means that new pieces of equipment will be introduced in old school runescape – check out what unique weapons and armour await those who complete the raid.

Theatre of Blood: Unique Rewards

You can get many rewards by completing the second raid in old school runescape: the Theatre of Blood. Some of them are common items, like various herbs, materials and so on. Others, which we will shortly introduce here, are powerful unique rewards. Although the weapons do not contain the word “justiciar” (as armor does) items share the same visual theme and perfectly match together. Let’s begin with the weapons.

Weapons

Avernic defender

Avernic defender itself cannot be looted, instead you can create it by combining dragon defender with avernic defender hilt, which can be looted in the Theatre of Blood. You need 70 ATT and DEF to wield it.  Upon death below level 20 in Wilderness you will not lose this item, but you will have to repair it for 1 million runescape gold. Dying in above level 20 Wilderness will cause the killer to receive the same amount of gold.

Ghrazi rapier

This weapon can be looted and it requires 75 ATT to wield. It’s the best weapon when talking about strength and stab bonus ratio to speed. An all-rounder which does not require any sort of charge, perfectly suitable for 1v1 action, especially if the target is small.

Sanguinesti staff

This weapon requires 75 magic to wield. This staff cannot be used to autocast any other spell than that it already has and cannot be used against players in wilderness. It can hold up to 20k charges, 3 blood runes per cast, which means that to fully charge it you would have to spend around 12.5 m runescape gold. This one will make you feel like a vampyre yourself because it has 1 in 6 chance to heal you for half amount of damage dealt.

Scythe of vitur

A vicious two-handed weapon that requires 75 ATT and STR to wield. I can hit up to three enemies standing by one another and is also very proficient at killing large monsters. It has three attacks and can hit three targets. Using it to slay large enemies means that you can actually hit the same monster three times. Downside of this weapon is that damage of each consecutive hit is reduced by half (100%-50%-25%). This weapon also has to be charged. It has to be charged for 100 charges at once and these 100 charges need one vial of blood and 300 blood runes. To fully charge the weapon you would have to spend close to 13m gold coins.

Armour

Justiciar faceguard (looks more like a full helm if you ask me), justiciar chestguard and justiciar legguards all require the user to have 75 DEF to wear. Together, armour pieces form a full set of justiciar armour which has a set effect. It reduces all combat damage taken, unfortunately this effect does not work in PvP.

Overall, the whole armor set has a crusade-esque feel to it and resembles iconic paladin armour from other fantasy games. We know we didn’t cover everything, because, let’s be honest, some weeds and ores are not the reason you risk your life and enter the raid. However, if you wish to see the full list you can check out the runescape wiki. Should you feel like selling armour pieces or weapons you can do so and for a really big amount of gold. You can easily turn this gold into real money by selling your runescape gold to us and finally fulfill that promise you gave to your runescape girlfriend to take her on a real date! We wish you best of luck in the raid – purge all evil from the face of Gielinor, justiciars, until next time!

Theatre of Blood is a second raid introduced in old school runescape. This new vampyre-themed raid is a new challenge players can attempt to overcome in order to receive fantastic new rewards!

Welcome to the theatre

We got fun and games!

Theatre of Blood seems to be an interpretation by the vampyres of the old saying “bread and circuses”. These cruel creatures enjoy nothing more than mindless killing or killing of the mindless. Now, the theatre was built and intended for the entertainment of Verzik Vitur, one of the few remaining true-born vampyres on Gielinor. Theatre’s poor participants were supposed to be the citizens of Meiyerditch who wanted to gain freedom which they would get on the condition they succeeded to overcome the challenges within the theatre. Much to dismay of the vampyre lady and the citizens themselves, they were unable to provide much entertainment and just filled the ranks of the abominations lumbering around the theatre.

That’s when adventurers like YOU take the stage. The Theatre of Blood is not only a fancy name for a raid, but it actually is a theatre and the players are also able to enjoy the show via spectator system –by attempting to enter the theatre alone or speaking to NPC Abigaila who is located upstairs in the Lumbridge general store or near the spirit tree by the Grand Exchhange. You just have to enter the name of the person you wish to spectate, a name of another spectator (that’s some inception stuff right here) or just search for a newly-formed party of adventurers. That’s good for players who are not yet sure if they’re up to the challenge and want to see how everything works from the safety of their seat in the audience. Those who wish to participate themselves must form a party of 3 to 5 people, the more the merrier.

Getting there

But let’s get to business. The process of entering the Theatre of Blood is simple, you have three options:

A) Travel there on foot

B) Via a boat north of Port Phasmatys (for a fee of 10,000 coins)

C) Complete the quest A Taste of Hope; then you can use Drakan’s medallion to teleport straight to the Theatre

Forming your party

The raid itself is linear, meaning that you will encounter all the bosses in a single order, so you always know what to expect. You can join a party or form your own via the board outside the Theatre of Blood. We advise you to form a party with your friends and be on some sort of voice chat, since cooperation and quick reaction of all party members will be required in the raid. Having someone experienced on board wouldn’t hurt either.

Theatre of Blood rewards

Though you might come across some random loot and supplies, bosses drop better rewards and completion of the whole raid (i.e. defeating Verzik Vitur herself) will be rewarded most handsomely. A trapdoor to the vault will open and there players will find 5 loot chests and an arrow pointing to the loot chest for a specific player. If you see a purple aura around your chests – rejoice. It’s not some sort of trap or anything. This indicates that a unique reward awaits you in that chest. You can check those rewards out in our post Theatre of Blood: Unique Rewards. Keep in mind that rewards are proportionate to your performance (damage and deaths). Players who are interested in game lore can also search the Grand bookshelves for six books related to the Theatre of Blood.

Dying in the Theatre of Blood

Upsetting the vampyre hostess by dying in the Theatre of Blood will prove costly. It will lower your performance rating, meaning that you will receive less valuable rewards. In addition to that it will the current boss fight will turn sour for your teammates. When a player dies they’re transferred to a “Purgatory” and can rejoin their party after it has completed current boss fight. If the whole party is wiped, then all players die for good: all unprotected items will be put in a chest with an option to reclaim them for a mere fee of 100k gp. Upon death hardcore ironmen will also lose their hardcore status and will become, well, common ironmen. Keep in mind that if you die an unsafe death before you reclaim your items, they will be permanently lost. IMPORTANT! Logging out outside combat area is considered a safe death and upon logging in the player will rejoin their party. Logging out during a fight and then logging back in will be considered an unsafe death and if logging back in process is successful, the player will be put into purgatory and will have to wait for the party to finish the fight. The player is considered dead for good if they fail to reconnect and they’ll lose unprotected items (same conditions as in case of entire party wipe)

Conclusion

The Theatre of Blood is another example of game developers keeping the game fresh, yet remaining loyal to its legacy. Less and less MMORPG’s can say the same. The second raid is a challenging one, like nothing we’ve seen before in Gielinor. Dying is costly and the raid itself requires close to top gear and a solid amount of supplies. If you wish to participate but your bank account is insufficient, don’t you can always  buy runescape gold – we’re here to help you out!

800k/h OSRS Money making low requirements

Yet another Runescape 2007 aka OSRS money making method you can use today! Only the best for EzRsGold blog readers.

Yet another Runescape 2007 aka OSRS money making method you can use today! Only the best for EzRsGold blog readers.

OSRS Money making guide, 800k/h, low requirements

Requirements:

A few Recipe of Disaster sub quests.

Around 50k coins.

You can expect to make around 800k/h

Go to Lumbridge, run inside the castle. Once you’re in the kitchen, climb down the ladder. You are now in the basement! Go to the recipe of disaster chest that is located in the north-east corner and choose the buy-food option. There you can buy a lot of items that barely cost anything, but they have a pretty high value in the grand exchange.

You can buy most of the items from the shop and profit, but before you buy them, you can check what items bring the most profit so you can make more money. buying grapes, pot of flour and pat of butter are usually safe bets.

You don’t really need a lot of money to do this, 50k will last you an hour. You also need to complete a few parts of recipe of disaster to gain access to the chest. Once you buy a full inventory of items simply bank them at the Culinaromancer’s Chest and switch worlds to buy more items. Repeat the process.

PRO TIP: Remove all the gold from your bank. Bank one of each items you are going to buy from the chest, then click on the Show menu button on the top right corner of the bank window and click on the Fill bank button. This way you can bank all your items with the deposit all button and make this money making method even more efficient.

When you feel like you have bought plenty of these items go to Varrock and run to the Grand Exchange. Put up the items up for a medium price and leave them selling overnight so you can get a higher profit from them.

This is a pretty consistent money making method, however, it could be pretty difficult to sell all of the items if you continue doing this money making method for a long period of time. I recommend doing this for like 10 hours and leaving all of the items in the GE, once they sell, you can grind this money making method again.

Hope this guide helped. If you don’t feel like wasting your time and want to enjoy the game without the hassle of making gold yourself, feel free to use our gold shop and buy the cheapest runescape gold in the market!
