OSRS money making guide in which everyone will find a method to farm OSRS gold and do it while having fun!

Old School RuneScape Money Making Guide for Pay-to-Play

Buying RuneScape gold might be the fastest way to gain some in-game wealth cheap and easy. But if you only need some extra coins to extend your membership or you actually wish to sell some RuneScape gold and make real money out of the game you love, there are some relatively easy ways to increase your wealth. Last time we’ve covered several different ways free-to-play players could use to earn some easy money and now we are going to introduce several ways only pay-to-play players can use to earn some RuneScape gold. There’s no hiding the fact that P2P money making methods are better.

Giant mole

Requirements:

Spade

Dharok’s helmet, greataxe, platebody, platelegs

Fire cape

Barrows gloves

Dragon Boots

Blessing of your choice

Amulet of fury

Berserker eye

Super strength potions 2

Stamina potions 4

Prayer potions 10

Falador shield

Sapphire lantern (or another light source)

Rune pouch with high alch runes in it

Dwarven rock cake

Recipe for Disaster quest (at least to the point where you can acquire Dwarven rock cake)

Dig through the patch in the garden in Falador. As soon as you do that, you can drop the spade and continue on finding the mole marked on your minimap. Don’t forget to use your light source! Once in giant mole’s vicinity, eat dwarven rock cake until your HP reaches 1. This is needed for the Dharok’s set to be most efficient, since the Dharok’s greataxe’s damage is inversely proportional to HP you have – less HP = more damage. Having four parts of Dharok’s equipment gives you a sweet bonus percentage to this effect which almost doubles the damage dealt. All you have to do now is use those steroid potions you brought, use prayer Protect from Melee and hack the hell out of that overgrown pest. This method might not be for some, even though it is one of the best money makers, because the mole sometimes burrows underground and you have to look for it and some might find this a bit frustrating. For this reason you need to bring Falador shield when venturing into those caves, since then you don’t need to search blindly (pun intended) for the giant mole and you can also counter its habit of digging away by bringing with you a weapon and equipment with more precision bonuses (like abyssal whip, for example) and swap from Dharok’s to them when mole gets to low HP. This way there’s less chance of it getting away. This money making method will get you around 1m per hour and you may also add an additional pet to your collection. You can also exchange mole skins and claws to bird nests with Wyson, the gardener. This method may be a bit unreliable, since what you get from bird nests might be of lower value than that what you exchanged, but if you exchange loot you got from giant mole in bulk, you might actually end up earning a lot more.

Falador park hides more than one skeleton in its closet...or a mole.

TIP: Most of the items on the requirement list can be swapped for other items (including supplies), this is just the most efficient way to do it. This method is doable with other items as well, though your profit margins might suffer, less profit is better than no profit at all. However, having something powerful like Twisted Bow might increase your profits from 1m to around 1.5m.

Gargoyles

Requirements:

75 Slayer

Super combat potion

Nose peg

Food

Dragon dagger (p++) or godsword

Slayer ring for teleportation

Rune pouch with high alch runes

Rock hammer (a must have)

This money making method is quite simple and fast when using the right equipment. All you have to do is teleport to Morytania Slayer Tower using your Slayer ring and whoosh – you’re there. Once in there you can use the shortcut to go up to Gargoyles (a chain hanging from the ceiling) or simply run upstairs if your agility level is too low for that. Do not forget to use the nose peg and Protect from Magic since aberrant spectres can mess things up entirely by draining your stats if they attack you. After reaching the top of the tower where a bunch of gargoyles are hanging around, you can drop the nose peg and start dismantling those magic beasts. As mentioned before, rock hammer is a must-have. The place might be crowded and you have to figure out whether it will be worthwhile or not. This money making method will get you around 500-600k per hour. That of course depends on how much people are doing this and putting items for sale on the Grand Exchange.

Tree Gnome Stronghold

Requirements:

10k gp to start with

What you need to do is go to Tree Gnome Stronghold. The easiest way to do it is through Spirit tree north-east of the Grand Exchange. Once there, go north to where the king is, climb up the treehouse and you will instantly see a bank to the south and the shop you’ll be trading a lot with to the north-west. Trade with Hudo at Grand Tree Groceries, buy items, bank them, repeat. Grand Tree Groceries sells a lot of various items but not all of them are as profitable as others and you should also check prices at the GE before doing this method, because prices there vary and you may see that some items might not be worth your time and/or your GE slots. Items you should look out for are:

Limes

Oranges

Lemons

Pineapples

Dwellberries

Equa leaves

TIP: You’ll have to run quite a bit, thus you might consider going there with low weight equipment or completely naked. Also, having some stamina potions in your bank might be useful, since you can get a quick fix, put the potion in the bank and run to the shop only with your gold in inventory. Don’t wait for the store’s stock to replenish, instead hop to a different world and buy the goods in that alternative universe. If you notice that there’s a shortage of goods throughout every world you hop to, you can also buy some items from Heckel Funch who is to the east of the treehouse. This is an alternative further from bank and should be used only if worth the additional effort.

Lava Dragons

Requirements:

Anti-dragon shield

Means of teleportation

Food

Looting bag

74 agility for shortcut (optional)

57 WC to use Waka canoe (optional)

Bronze axe if you’re using the canoe

Many creatures hanging around the Wilderness can get you a decent loot and Lava Dragons are no exception. This money making method is one of the easier ones as you don’t need to have extremely good equipment. All you need to do is get to the Lava Dragon Isle whether on foot or using the canoe and start killing the dragons. Ability to use the shortcut to the south can be very useful if you encounter some PKers (bringing some stamina potions is recommended as well). This method should get you around 700k-750k gold as well as some nice combat XP.

Lava Dragons appear to be following celebrities' trend of getting their own little private island. They think too good of themselves, show them who's the baws!

TIP: If you get PKed a lot (sometimes you will be, that’s why you don’t bring your best stuff with you) you can try hopping worlds. In case that does not help and you see that you won’t profit from this then either try using this money making method when there’s less activity (like in the morning, for example) or switch to a different money making method.

Hunting Black Chinchompas

Requirements:

73 Hunter

6 box traps

Hunting Black Chinchompas is fun and profitable, yet dangerous as the hunting spot is in level 32 Wilderness. All you need to do is set all six traps in the hunting spot. You might want to kill a black chinchompa before setting your traps and wait for it to respawn to see the exact location best suited for your traps. Once in your inventory black chinchompas are a stackable item, so you don’t need to worry about bringing a looting bag. Just set your traps and catch those pesky rodents until you’re satisfied with your catch. This method will get your around 750k to 1m gold per hour and you will also get hunter experience (around 125k-150k), so not only will you profit a lot you will also get XP. A good money maker if you’re not worried about upsetting PETA.

If fighting Lava Dragons or other players is too mainstream for you try hunting in this little grove for a change!

TIP: This hunting spot is in the Wilderness so beware of PKers! Consider bringing some food, prayer potions, stamina potions or teleport tabs! You can also save up to 3 items, so you can bring some armor as well.

Abyssal demons

Requirements:

Herb sack

Food

Rune pouch

Level 85 Slayer

Equipment good enough to tackle with lvl 124 Abyssal demons

Humanity was fighting evil from within and without for all of its written history and one form of this evil is demons. It’s no surprise that many fictional worlds have them in some form or another and Old School RuneScape is no exception. Killing Abyssal demons is somewhat luck-based money making method since most of your profits rely on rare drops such as Abyssal whip and Abyssal dagger (wouldn’t count on the latter too much, though, but good luck nonetheless). On average, your profits would be around 600k per hour and some nice combat XP, but you may get lucky and get two Abyssal whips in an hour and earn 6m! Or get unlucky and farm four hours for only a single whip. Whatever the case, this method is definitely worth trying out, especially for gambling types.

Catacombs of Kourend is a dangerous place, but an experienced slayer such as yourself never shies away from a challenge! P.S. profits are also nice.

Zogres

Requirements:

Relic balm (if you’re worried about getting poisoned)

Ring of Dueling (for quick teleport)

Zogre Flesh Eaters quest

This money making method will let you enjoy premium quality zombie killing while earning a decent amount of coins as well. Zogres are in a very nice spot just South of Castle Wars, meaning that they can be reached easily and you’re not risking to be PKed.  Each Zogre drops a guaranteed loot which is Zogre bones and Ogre coffin key. If you’re not desperate to level up your Prayer then don’t even bother picking up Zogre bones, for they don’t give much Prayer XP and although their price is around 600gp, no one would really buy them for that same reason that they don’t give much XP. What you’re interested in is Ogre coffin keys which sell at around 1k gp each. So this time your profits completely depend on how quick your fingers are and how much damage you deal.

Zogres are a sick fruit of someone's even sicker imagination. Who in the world could come up with an idea of an undead ogre!? However, as an old saying goes, money doesn't stink...

TIP: Consider using range equipment for this money making method since there are neatly placed safe spots. Use Comp Ogre bow and mithril brutal arrows for maximum effectiveness and also bring a single ranging potion for that sweet bonus.

Blue Dragons

Requirements:

Anti-Dragon shield

Dusty key

Killing dragons is always something every adventurer aspires to do and Blue Dragons are a good target since they don’t require you to be high level. You can find the entrance to the Taverley Dungeon just north-west of Falador and south of Taverley. Once you’re below sea level, head to the center of the dungeon and you’re there. This money making method also brings pretty consistent profit of around 500k, depending on how efficient you are.

A literal dungeons and dragons situation, just with less dicerolling and more effects.

TIP: Using range doing this money making method is also recommended because of safe spots you find in Blue Dragon lair.

Now, we know that doing Theatre of Blood or Chambers of Xeric raids is more profitable than any of these. This is how newer content works. But these money making methods are good in that they can be done solo, have low requirements and bring you a nice income that will one day allow you to gear up and fight the evils within raids. As always, we hope that you will find this OSRS money making guide useful. In case you overdo yourself and find that your OSRS bank could do with some lightening and your wallet with some fattening consider selling your RuneScape gold to us – we’ll gladly help you out!

Three Low Requirement Old School RuneScape AFK Money Making Methods You Definitely Need to Try Out!

There is a huge variety of ways to make money in Old School RuneScape and some of these require less of your attention that others. Here are three Old School RuneScape AFK money making methods you must try out!

There is a huge variety of ways to make money in Old School RuneScape and some of these require less of your attention that others. Here are three Old School RuneScape AFK money making methods you must try out!

Three Low Requirement Old School RuneScape AFK Money Making Methods You Definitely Need to Try Out!

When it comes to making money, be it in the real world or in Gielinor, it all comes down to your willingness to put effort into it and the amount of time you can dedicate. We’ve already covered several Old School RuneScape money making methods both for free-to-play and pay-to-play players, but virtually all of them require you to completely focus on them and them only. For those who wish to earn some OSRS gp while doing something else on their main account or in the real world, we decided to tell about these three low requirement AFK money making methods.

Making bow strings

Making bow strings is probably a classic method, but still worth mentioning since not everyone might now about this. This AFK money making method is extremely good for new adventurers who wish to get some coin to jumpstart their Old Shool RuneScape career. All you need is to have level 10 Crafting (easily achievable with or without doing a few starting quests). All you need to do is get as much flax as you wish at the GE and bank it. Then travel to Lumbridge Castle and on the second floor in the room next to Duke Horatio’s bedroom you will find a spinning wheel. This will be the instrument you will use to spin flax into bow strings. There are other spinning wheels in the world but this spot is especially convenient because of its proximity to a bank and the GE. This would be an excellent and extremely profitable starting (and arguably even for more experienced players) money making method were it not for the time it takes to spin the whole inventory of flax into bow strings (50s). Hence, it’s a good AFK money making method. Profit per hour is approximately 180k, depending on how efficient you are and you’ll also receive a decent amount of Crafting XP.

Room on the second floor of Lumbridge Castle where the spinning wheel is. A busy place and for a good reason.

Crafting gold bracelets

Crafting gold bracelets is a little less profitable (around 100k to 130k) than making bow strings and will consume more stamina when running from furnace to bank and vice versa (because of item weight, especially gold bars), but this money making method is one of those „two birds with one stone” situations. It will get you way more experience than spinning flax into bowstrings. For this money making method you will need to buy as much gold bars as you wish, bank them, then head to Al-Kharid with 4 coins in your pocket and buy bracelet mould from Al-Kharid crafting store. Then fill your inventory with gold bars and head for the furnace which is just a little to the north from the bank. Try not to break your back doing this! Click on the furnace, make all, and do whatever you want, this will take some time.

Close furnace proximity to the bank makes this spot in Al Kharid one of the best places to make gold bracelets.

TIP: At lower Crafting levels a level-up will pop up quite often, so don’t be surprised if you find your character standing there and gazing into the fire with only half of its inventory filled with gold bracelets and the other half with gold bars.

This money making method can be made more efficient by employing a second account which could be kept busy running from bank to furnace. However, in such a case this money making method would lose the “AFK” part of it.

Making ultracompost

Don’t shy away from manual labor, because you might be surprised how profitable sometimes it might be. This is definitely the case with making ultracompost. This method has no requirements, only some starting cash (around 100k) which you can easily make doing previously mentioned AFK money making methods. All you have to do is purchase volcanic ash and supercompost from the GE or get these materials provided to you by your local farmer and use volcanic ash on supercompost to make ultracompost. One bucket of supercompost needs two handfuls of volcanic ash to make it into ultracompost. This money making method is a little less AFKey than the previous ones, but yield a lot more profit (200k to 300k). The only downside is that you won’t be getting any XP, but if you’re only after the gold then go ahead and make some serious amount of fertilizer and feed the whole Gielinor!

We hope you found these AFK money making methods useful and will put them into practice on your way to the top! For those who are in a rush we can show a shortcut i.e. you can simply buy RuneScape gold from our humble establishment – we’re here to help!

1 to 99 OSRS Thieving Guide – Training & Money making

Best OSRS thieving training methods in 2022. This guide covers thieving money making, blackjacking, stalls, thieving boosts, gear, rogues outfit & other topics!

Best OSRS thieving training methods in 2022. This guide covers thieving money making, blackjacking, stalls, thieving boosts, gear, rogues outfit & other topics!

Released in May of 2002, Thieving has become a very common skill for Old School RuneScape players, and a fairly quick 99 to achieve. Get ready for thieving, as in this guide, we’ll go through not just the shortest path to 99 thieving, but also go over a few money makers. You never know, you may even make some real life money while training thieving. Feel free to rotate, in particular towards the later levels, through the methods in this OSRS Thieving Guide by Ezrsgold.

Thieving Quests

Prior to the actual thieving guide, we want to discuss the importance of questing. The early thieving grind can be very repetitive and involves intense clicking, so we recommend completing a couple of quests that give a reasonable amount of thieving experience to zoom through early levels. Here’s a rundown of all the OSRS quests offering thieving experience. If you’d like to skip the questing process, consider using our OSRS Questing Service.

Thieving quests

Equipment for Thieving

For you to use in your Thieving journey to 99, we recommend you use these following items, as they can make your journey a lot more profitable, faster, or both! If you need some gold to afford these items, consider checking out our OSRS Buy Gold Page.

Ardougne Cloak 3

Upon completing every Ardougne diary you can get these exclusive Cloaks. Upon completing the Ardougne easy diaries, the first stage, the Ardougne Cloak 1, gives you a 10 percent greater chance of thieving successfully from Ardougne stalls. The second-tier stacks with the easy diary after completing the medium diaries and offers an additional 10 percent higher chance of pickpocketing in Ardougne. The third-tier stacks with the previous diaries after completing the hard diaries and provides you with a 10 percent higher chance of succeeding when pickpocketing around Gielinor. Keep in mind, you don’t have to equip the cloaks for the bonuses to come into effect. You can get the cloaks from Two Pints, in East Ardougne’s Flying Horse Inn.

Ardougne cape 3

Dodgy Necklace

While equipped, this enchanting opal necklace gives you a 25 percent chance not to get stunned and hit when pickpocketing any NPC. This helps you immensely during pickpocketing and speeds up the rate of experience gain. The necklace has 10 charges, every time you’re saved from a stun a charge is consumed. In basic terms, the necklace can give you immunity from being stunned for up to a minute.

Dodgy necklace

Rogue outfit

To find rogue equipment, you’ll have to open the rogue equipment, which can be done by completing the Rouge’s Den minigame. Besides being a sleek and cool outfit, the full rouge outfit offers the chance to double the loot from an NPC by pickpocketing. We highly recommend this if you go down the route of this guide’s profitable portion.

Thieving Training Guide

Levels 1-5 – Pickpocketing Men & Women

To start off your thieving journey, and this thieving OSRS guide, you’re going to be pickpocketing Men & Women to level 5. Practically everywhere you can find men & women, but they are in great abundance in places like Lumbridge and Edgeville. You ‘re just going to be there for a couple of minutes so don’t get cozy. Here’s a tip for pickpocketing – go to your settings, go to the ‘play controller’ icon at the top right, and select ‘Hide’ under ‘NPC Attack Options.’ This makes pickpocketing so much easier, because your default left-click choice is pickpocketing, not fighting. If you want to skip these early levels and jump straight into the fun parts of Thieving, consider using our OSRS Power Levelling Service.

Man

Levels 5-20 – Stealing from Cake Stalls

You will be stealing from the Cake Stall in East Ardougne market from levels 5 to 20. More precisely, in the east side of the market you can find the cake stall (otherwise known as the Baker’s Stall). To thieve them optimally, stand opposite the side facing the market, and thieve! Drop it (or bank) until you have a full inventory and carry on the thieving. If a guard threatens you in the rare case, you can either run away, or be brave and fight back against him. That way, in a very short time you will be right back to thieving. Anyways, you’ll only be about 20 minutes here.

Cake stall

Levels 20-25 – Stealing from Silk Stalls

The Silk Stall, where you will be from level 20 to level 25, is right next to the cake stalls, which you should have thieved from level 5 to 20. The East Ardougne market has two silks stalls, and we’ve provided you with a map of them. Just as with the cake stalls, to thieve these stalls effectively, just stand opposite the side of the stall facing the market and keep thieving. Also, if you’re looking for some extra cash when doing so, you ‘d be able to sell the silk to the merchants.

Silk stall location

Levels 25-45 – Stealing from the Hosidius Fruit Stand

Between levels 25 to 45, at the Great Kourend, you must steal fruit from the Hosidius Fruit Stall. The stall, more precisely, is on the east side of the Hosidius house, near the beach. Nonetheless, to do that, you’ll need the Hosidius House 15 percent favor, which is incredibly easy to get. There is a bank to the west, if you want to bank your thieved goods. Do that all until level 45.

Fruit stand location

Levels 45-55 – Blackjacking Bearded Bandits

We finally get into the core of this thieving OSRS guide. Get used to blackjacking, since you’ll be doing it a lot. You’ll be going to Pollnivneach from levels 45 to 55, to blackjack the Bearded Pollnivnian Bandits. To blackjack you have to have a blackjack, preferably a maple blackjack. Just knock him down with the blackjack once you’ve found a Bearded Bandit, pick him up while he’s unconscious on the floor, and wait before he gets up again. If you have fast hands, click twice when he’s on the floor for even more experience and gold.

Bearded bandit

When you’re caught trying to blackjack the bandit, though, he’ll attack you for 4hp. When you’ve been hit, just try to knock them back repeatedly and hopefully they’ll be unconscious again. If you’ve been too slow to take them down once they reach you, they ‘re going to start hitting you. If that happens, just run away, restore your health and come back. And if you’re in a building, you can just walk up the steps and wait a couple of seconds.

Ali the Dyer’s building, on the north side of Pollnivneach, is our absolute favorite spot to blackjack all forms of bandits. The reason you ‘re going to want to use this house is because it’s incredibly small and has easy access to ladders to escape.

Store location

If you’re ever running out of food and are hoping to live longer, there’s a slightly west banknote exchange dealer, and we’ve provided you with his location on the map. Simply give him some noted food along with a couple of coins and he will un-note them for you, so you can carry on blackjack. Ali the Barman, slightly south, sells wines for 1gp each if you don’t want to bring in food. Just do this method until 55, and you’ll also get a few hundred thousand gold!

Levels 55-65 – Blackjacking Non-Bearded Bandits

Just when you’re blackjacking bearded bandits from levels 45-55, we’ll do the same from levels 55 to 65, except now you’ll be blackjacking non-bearded bandits. They are still in the same place, so you are going to be blackjacking them with the same technique as seen before. To differentiate between bearded and unbearded bandits, look at their hand to see if they are holding a weapon, other than the obvious facial hair difference. All bearded bandits will not carry a scimitar, while unbearded bandits will carry a scimitar with them. Best of all, you’ll get even more hourly experience, and even more gold per hour!

Non bearded bandit

Levels 65-91 – Blackjacking Menaphite Thugs

And we will be blackjacking again from level 65 to level 91. This time, it is going to be Menaphite Thugs. On the south side of Pollnivneach, you will find these level 55s and they are hard to miss. The blackjack strategy for them is the exact same as before. Except this time, you’ll get a lot more experience and a lot more gold! And they get much easier to blackjack at about 77 thieving, which isn’t too far down the lane, according to your current level.
Menaphite thug

Levels 91-99 – Completing Pyramid Plunder

To complete your OSRS Thieving journey, you’ll complete the minigame of the Pyramid Plunder from levels 91 to 99. You will be in the Jalsavrah Pyramid in Sophanem for this process, which is unlocked after starting the ‘Icthlarin’s Little Helper’ quest. Otherwise you can just use the Pharoh’s Sceptre teleport function to get straight there. We also suggest completing the quest ‘Contact!’ for easy access to the Bank next to the pyramid. If you’ve not done the quest, your next bank is in Nardah, which is quite a tedious walk to do whenever you need food or anti-posion.

We suggest bringing weight reduction equipment, as well as prayer potions, antidotes, food, coins, and stamina/energy potions for the most efficiency. And there’s a 1 in 1000 chance to earn a Pharoh’s Sceptre for an extra reward, which is an incredibly sought-after drop. Unfortunately, we are not going to break down the specifics of Pyramid Plunder and the steps to complete it in this article, because there is too much to cover for an OSRS Thieving Article. Nonetheless, should you find yourself lost while completing Pyramid Plunder, do not hesitate to search the Runescape Wiki Page’s comprehensive guide or browse around Youtube.

Pyramid plunder

Alternative method from level 49 to 99

This method is amazing as it gives 130k-150k XP/H right when you can start doing it at level 49 and you can get up to 260k XP/H on later levels. This method is called Stealing artifacts and it requires 49 Thieving as well as 75% Piscarilius favour. Also, this method allows you to train other skills while doing it, like you can cast high alchemy spells while you’re running, you can make darts or like in the example video below – you can even train herblore. It’s an extremely creative way to maximize efficiency and I highly recommend you try it out. Also, if you choose to alch items while you do it, check out this guide for a method that can make you up to 1M per hour while doing so.

OSRS Thieving Money Making

Pickpocketing Elves (3350k GP/H)

You can start this method at level 85 thieving, although the profit will be about 2.3m GP/H.

For this method we recommend wearing Rogue equipment, Dodgy necklaces, food & a thieving cape if you have one. Also, to speed things up we recommend using Shadow Veil spell from Arceuus spellbook, because this spell gives you a 15% chance to avoid being stunned and damaged while pickpocketing.

For this method you will also need to have completed the hard Ardougne Diary as well as Song of the Elves quest.

Elves are located in Prifddinas and the main money to be made from this method comes from pickpocketing enhanced crystal teleport seed. You will also make a portion of your money from crystal shards, coins and some other miscellaneous items.

Pickpocketing vyres (3250k GP/H)

The same principles apply as in Elves method, however, there is a different quest requirement – Sins of the Father. This method also requires 82 thieving to start, although the profit at that level would be roughly 2.1m GP/H. I would also recommend bringing a gem bag, as you will be getting quite a few gems. This method may also require a bit more luck, as statistically, it should take about 3.3 hours to receive the main drop – blood shard.

Vyres can be found in Darkmeyer.

Pickpocketing H.A.M members (1050k GP/H)

To start the money-making section of the guide, we’ve got one of RuneScape’s best methods to make quick gold – pickpocketing H.A.M members! Players with level 15 Thieving can pickpocket female H.A.M members and at 20 Thieving can pickpocket male H.A.M members. When pickpocketing H.A.M. members you get a 1/50 chance to get an easy clue scroll. Much of the value you get from an easy clue scroll is from trimmed armour, God pages, cosmetic items, and some very rare items like gold trimmed

monk robes. You can no longer fail pickpocketing H.A.M. Members at 93 Thieving if you have completed the Ardougne Hard Diary. Alternatively, you can’t fail either if you have 99 Thieving and wear the Thieving cape. Since a pickpocket takes 1.2 seconds, it will take on average a little over a minute to get an easy clue scroll. A clue scroll can usually be completed in under 90 seconds with teleports all unlocked and accessible. The general strategy is to teleport to Draynor Village using an Amulet of Glory, running to the hideout, obtaining a clue scroll through pickpocketing and completing the clue scroll, repeating the process by banking in Draynor Village. If you’re a lower thieving level, consider wearing a dodgy necklace and H.A.M. robes to minimise the risk of being kicked out the hideout.

Pickpocketing Master Farmers (850k GP/H)

As you pickpocket Master Farmers in Draynor Village, the money will really start rolling in. These farmers will give you a tremendous amount of seeds, including ranarrs and snapdragons! You’ll leap to the range of more than a million gp an hour, and we strongly recommend getting the rouge outfit for this. If you have a seed box, that’s going to be very beneficial, too. If you have a low hit point level, make sure you bring some food (if you have the rouge ‘s outfit at level 94, don’t worry about bringing food). Head over to Draynor with your things, and find Martin, the master gardener, as seen on the map. Wait until Martin is stuck inside the pig pin for the best efficiency. Then pick-pocket away from here, dropping the worthless seeds. And once again scroll for a helpful tip on pickpocketing up to the very first step in this guide. After making a bunch of gold, consider selling it for real life cash through our OSRS Sell Gold Page.

And with that, we conclude our OSRS Thieving Guide. Good luck with your thieving journey, don’t get caught!

Quests that give Firemaking Experience

Before hopping right into the guide, let’s take a look at the quests that give Firemaking experience. Most of the quests that give Firemaking experience are pretty easy and have fairly low requirements. The main exception is Making Friends with My Arm. Since it requires 72 Mining and 68 Agility, along with 66 Firemaking in the first place, some players may forgo the opportunity to get 5,000 of that experience. Here is a list of these quests and their requirements. Remember, if you don’t feel like questing, we do quests! Feel free to use  Ezrsgolds  Questing service!

This amounts to 19,075 total Firemaking Experience.

The Giant Dwarf is an Intermediate difficulty quest and is Medium to Long

Heroes’ Quest is an Experienced difficulty quest and is Medium to Long

Enlightened Journey is an Intermediate difficulty quest and is Short unless you grow the tree yourself

Making Friends with My Arm is a Master difficulty quest and is Medium length

Enakhra’s Lament is an Experienced difficulty quest and is Medium length

Important Items

Tinderbox

This is the only item that is mandatory when lighting fires. It can be obtained from a general store or from another player.

Pyromancer Outfit

This is obtained as a set of rare drops from the Wintertodt minigame. It provides a 2.5% Firemaking experience bonus across the board, so we highly recommend it if you are going for 99 Firemaking. If you would like to know more about that, we have a Wintertodt Guide here!

Places to Train Firemaking

The Grand Exchange

The GE is probably the easiest place to train your Firemaking since you are likely to be there pretty often anyway. You should start past the wall on the east as far north as possible, your line of fires will run west into the bank area where you can get more logs. The only issues with training here are that sometimes other people do this too, which can get in the way, and it is hard for some people’s internet connection to deal with it on populated worlds. If these things might be an issue for you, look below at other places to train your Firemaking.

Rogue’s Den

Rogue’s Den is a good place to train cooking if you haven’t unlocked the Hosidius range yet. It is also a good place to make fires since lighting 25 fires can land you directly in front of a bank chest to grab more logs. You can get to Rogue’s Den by teleporting to Burthorpe with the Games Necklace and entering the nearby pub. Then, open and enter the trapdoor behind the bar. Here is what your lines of fire should look like.

Wintertodt

Wintertodt isn’t the most optimal place to light fires, but it will definitely work in a pinch. You can’t quite fit 27 fires between the bank door and the opposite wall, but you can definitely do about half of an inventory. Here is the location at Wintertodt.

OSRS Fastest P2P 1-99 Firemaking Leveling Guide

Levels 1-15: Lighting Logs

Requires 61 Logs costing around 8,500 coins

Grants about 46,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 3 minutes if buying the logs, 10-15 minutes if cutting the logs

You can easily cut these yourself whilst training, simply cut an inventory of logs and burn them in a line. Then repeat until you hit level 15.

Levels 15-30: Lighting Oak Logs

Requires 183 Oak Logs costing around 26,000 coins

Grants about 69,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 8 minutes if buying the logs, 20-30 minutes or more if cutting the logs

You can still easily cut these yourself whilst training.

Levels 30-35: Lighting Willow Logs

Requires 101 Willow Logs costing around 2,000 coins

Grants about 104,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 4 minutes if buying the logs, 15-20 minutes if cutting the logs

You could choose to cut these whilst training if you wish to level up Woodcutting as well, but some players choose not to because they cost significantly less than Oak Logs and normal Logs

Levels 35-45: Lighting Teak Logs

Requires 373 Teak Logs costing around 105,000 coins

Grants about 121,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 15 minutes

It’s at this point that most players buy the logs or obtain them ahead of time because it would take a long time to obtain 300+ logs while trying to train Firemaking, adding unnecessary length to a relatively short skill.

Levels 45-50: Lighting Maple Logs

Requires 295 Maple Logs costing around 2,500 coins

Grants about 155,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 12 minutes

Maple logs cost very little to buy, so we highly recommend just buying 295 of them from the Grand Exchange. Keep in mind, you may have to buy more if you are choosing an alternate path that involves burning Maple Logs for longer than 5 levels.

Levels 50-60: Lighting Mahogany Logs

Requires 1,095 Mahogany Logs costing around 452,000 coins

Grants about 181,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 45 minutes

Levels 60-75: Lighting Yew Logs

Requires 4,626 Yew Logs costing around 1,150,000 coins

Grants about 233,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 3 hours

Levels 75-90: Lighting Magic Logs

Requires 13,614 Magic Logs costing around 14,850,000 coins

Grants about 350,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 9 hours

Levels 90-99: Lighting Redwood Logs

Requires 21,966 Redwood Logs costing around 6,750,000 coins

Grants about 402,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 18 hours

Congratulations! If you followed this part of the guide, you completed the fastest path to 99 Firemaking! Keep in mind that this path, while extremely fast, will cost you around 23 million coins! If you would like the fastest experience possible, but this looks to be a bit too much for your bank, consider buying gold from us here! Otherwise, take a look at the cheaper methods and the most profitable method below! Alternatively you can make some gold with these money making methods.

OSRS Cheaper P2P 1-99 Firemaking Leveling Guides

Levels 45-60: Lighting Maple Logs

Requires 1,573 Maple Logs costing around 12,500 coins

Grants about 155,000 experience points per hour

This path saves you about 400,000 coins on your journey to 99, and it will only take about 30 minutes longer to complete. If your best money making method is somewhere below 200,000 coins per hour, this may be the option for you. It is important to note that if your best money making method is less than 200,000 coins per hour, it would be all around better to go for the cheapest path listed below, since just saving 400,000 coins on Mahogany Logs won’t save you from the massive costs of Yew Logs, Magic Logs, and Redwood Logs.

Levels 45-99: Lighting Maple Logs

Requires 96,069 Maple Logs costing around 768,500 coins

Grants about 155,000 experience points per hour

This is by far the cheapest way to get to 99 Firemaking by burning logs. This method will save you about 21,000,000 coins in your journey. However, it will take about 50 hours longer to complete. If your best money making method is below 420,000 coins per hour, this would be more efficient for you.

OSRS P2P 50-99 Firemaking Money Making Leveling Guide (Wintertodt)

A more detailed wintertodt guide can be found here.

Levels 50-99: Subduing Wintertodt

Requires about 600 Wintertodt kills

Takes about 40 hours

This is the best way to make money while training your Firemaking. Don’t forget, if you make too much money,  we buy gold! This method can award anywhere from 160,000 experience to 320,000 experience per hour, but is primarily recommended for two types of characters. These are:

Low HP Level Characters (Particularly less than 15 or so HP)

The reason characters with 15 or less max HP (the lower the better) have an advantage here, is because the wintertodt does damage based on your max HP. If you have 10 HP, the wintertodt will only ever hit you with 1 damage at a time making it much cheaper and easier to heal.

High Skill Total Characters (Particular Skills listed below)

The main reason we recommend this is that having higher levels in some non combat skills improves the drops of the supplies pertinent to those skills. These skills and resources are:

Herblore for herbs

Mining for ores

Fishing for fish

Crafting for uncut gems

Farming for seeds

Woodcutting for logs

Characters like this could have a low HP level such as above, and subsequently should just bring wines to heal. A character with a high HP level (normally above 90) should bring Saradomin Brews instead. If you’re interested in learning more about the wintertodt, please visit our 50-99 Firemaking Guide with Wintertodt.

OSRS Fastest F2P 1-99 Firemaking Leveling Guide

Levels 1-15: Lighting Logs

Requires 61 Logs costing around 8,500 coins

Grants about 46,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 3 minutes if buying the logs, 10-15 minutes if cutting the logs

You can easily cut these yourself whilst training, simply cut an inventory of logs and burn them in a line. Then repeat until you hit level 15.

Levels 15-30: Lighting Oak Logs

Requires 183 Oak Logs costing around 26,000 coins

Grants about 69,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 8 minutes if buying the logs, 20-30 minutes or more if cutting the logs

You can still easily cut these yourself whilst training.

Levels 30-45: Lighting Willow Logs

Requires 535 Willow Logs costing around 10,000 coins

Grants about 104,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 20 minutes

Willow Logs cost very little to buy, so we highly recommend just buying 535 of them from the Grand Exchange or obtaining them ahead of time.

Levels 45-60: Lighting Maple Logs

Requires 1,572 Maple Logs costing around 14,000 coins

Grants about 155,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 1 hour

Maple Logs cost very little to buy, so we highly recommend just buying 1,572 of them from the Grand Exchange or obtaining them ahead of time.

Levels 60-99: Lighting Yew Logs

Requires 63,016 Yew Logs costing around 15,500,000 coins

Grants about 233,000 experience points per hour

Takes about 42.5 hours

This is extremely expensive for a F2P account, especially when compared with lighting Maple Logs from 45 to 99. If you need help paying for logs, remember, we sell gold! Buy gold from us  here!

Also, you can actually train firemaking while training thieving, you can see how it’s done in this Thieving guide.

OSRS Cheaper F2P 1-99 Firemaking Leveling Guide

Levels 45-99: Lighting Maple Logs

Requires 96,069 Maple Logs costing around 768,500 coins

Grants about 155,000 experience points per hour

This is by far the cheapest way to get to 99 Firemaking by burning logs. This method will save you about 15,000,000 coins in your journey. However, it will take about 20 hours longer to complete. If your best money making method is below 750,000 coins per hour, this would be more efficient for you.

It is important to note that if you choose to collect the ashes from your fires, it will save you about 60,000 coins per hour. This could potentially allow you to make money when burning Willow Logs and Maple Logs. However, this will decrease your experience rates by approximately 10%. This is much more likely to be useful for a F2P account.

That’s it! We hope you enjoyed this guide on how to level up your Firemaking to 99! We have guides on plenty of other skills too. Don’t forget, we offer many other services as well!

OSRS Wintertodt Guide – Best XP & Gear

Old school Runescape Wintertodt Guide for P2P & Ironman Accounts! Best xp rates for 2022, full list of warm clothing and best gear for wintertodt in OSRS.

Old school Runescape Wintertodt Guide for P2P & Ironman Accounts! Best xp rates for 2022, full list of warm clothing and best gear for wintertodt in OSRS.

Wintertodt is a great place to train your Firemaking up from 50 to 99. It takes about 600-700 games to do so, which might seem quite tedious to some, other ways of gaining firemaking xp can be found in our 99 firemaking guide.

In this guide you will get the best Wintertodt strategies to gain the most points and most XP possible. You may need a little bit of gold to participate in the minigame, so if you’re short – we got you.

Best Wintertodt Gear (Warm Clothes)

In the Wintertodt minigame / boss, you need at least 4 pieces of warm gear to mitigate the damage from the cold as much as possible. If you’re just starting to do Wintertodt, chances are you don’t have much in the way of warm clothes since you don’t have the pyromancer outfit. Here is a list of some of the gear that counts as warm gear.

Pyromancer outfit – this is the best option, obtained from wintertodt supply crates.

Santa / Antisanta Outfit

Bunny outfit

Chicken Outfit

Evil Chicken Outfit

Bomber jacket costume

Yak-hide armour

Santa Hat

Black Santa Hat

Any staff that provides fire runes

Any fire, infernal, or 99 skill cape and the obsidian cape

Fremennik gloves

Tome of fire

Clue Hunter Outfit

Most of these options are untradeable and can only be obtained through wintertodt, the fight caves, holiday events, etc. However, there is one option in particular that we recommend if you don’t happen to just have 4 of these items sitting around. This outfit is the Clue Hunter Outfit, and here is a short guide on how to get it. Note: The Helm of Raedwald does not count as warm gear, so we won’t include it here, but it is technically still a part of the Clue Hunter Outfit.

Getting the Clue Hunter Outfit

You will only need a Spade, teleports to get near these locations, and perhaps stamina or energy potions or graceful gear to be able to keep running. Remember, you only need 4 pieces of warm clothes, but more won’t affect you negatively.

Gloves and Boots

For these pieces of the gear, Dig here beside the oak tree south of the Fishing Guild.

Garb

For this piece of the gear, Dig here, southwest of Kourend Castle

Trousers

For this piece of the gear, Dig here, near the Pothole Dungeon near Tai Bwo Wannai

Cloak

For this piece of the gear, Dig here, between two Willows south of Yanille.

The Clue Hunter Gear will be plenty sufficient for starting out at Wintertodt. As you unlock pieces of the Pyromancer gear, incorporate those into your set up. The bruma torch even provides the benefit of acting as a tinderbox for lighting the braziers, which is something we will talk about later.

The best food to eat

Generally speaking, your food needs will fall into two categories:

Low HP Level Characters (Less than 70-80 HP)

Characters with a low HP stat should use wines or cakes. The reason characters with less than about 74 HP would want to use wines or cakes is because they likely won’t be hit as hard by Wintertodt. If your Firemaking Level is well above 50, this is even better because that will reduce the damage done to you by the Wintertodt. Wines are a viable option for many Ironman accounts. However, it may be easier for low HP level Ironman accounts to bring cakes stolen from stalls in Ardougne.

High HP Level Characters (87 HP or above)

If your account has an HP level of about 87 or above, we suggest Saradomin Brews for Wintertodt. The Wintertodt does damage based on your Max HP, so it will do significantly more when your HP level is this high. Also, Saradomin Brews will heal 15 HP at level 87 and 16 HP at level 94. If your Firemaking Level is fairly low, you might consider using Saradomin Brews as low as 74 HP as the Wintertodt will be hitting you pretty hard anyways, and the Saradomin Brews will still be healing at least 13 HP per dose.

How to get there

There are two easy ways to get to Wintertodt. The easiest way is to teleport there with a games necklace. The next best way is to use fairy ring code C I S and following the yellow path to get there. Note: You will have to pay Trossa 80,000 coins to use this fairy ring. If neither of these are possible, simply walk to it. An easy way to get to Kourend is to take a boat from Port Sarim to Port Piscarilius. Then, find Wintertodt on the map and walk there.

Other Important Items

In the starting room, you will need to grab some items if you did not bring them with you.

These items are:

Knife

You will need a knife if you want to fletch Bruma Roots into Bruma Kindling

Tinderbox

You will need a Tinderbox OR Bruma Torch to light braziers

Axe

You will need to grab a bronze axe if you don’t have a better one. We recommend the Dragon Axe, as it chops the roots much faster and has a Level Boost Special Attack.

Rejuvenation potion (unf)

You will need a Rejuvenation potion (unf) to make Rejuvenation potion if you wish to heal the Pyromancer.

Hammer

You will need a Hammer if you wish to repair the brazier if it breaks.

The HUD

Here is the Wintertodt HUD. The top left symbol indicates that the North Western brazier is not lit. (two logs symbol) The top right symbols indicate both that the North Eastern brazier is lit, (firemaking symbol) and that the North Eastern Pyromancer needs healing. (red hat symbol) If this brazier were broken, it could not be lit again without healing him. The bottom left symbols indicate both that the South Western brazier is broken (crafting symbol), and again that the South Western Pyromancer needs healing. (red hat symbol) This brazier cannot be lit again until the Pyromancer is healed. The bottom right symbol indicates that the South Eastern brazier is lit. (firemaking symbol)

Lighting the Brazier

The best way to start the minigame is to stand next to a Brazier in the spot shown.

This spot reduces the chances of being hit by snow storms. Also, when the minigame starts, you will need to light the Brazier. Do this by simply clicking on it with a Tinderbox in your inventory or a Bruma Torch equipped or in your inventory.

Chopping Bruma Roots

You will need to chop some Bruma Roots to feed the flames in the Braziers. In order to do this, go in the spot shown and chop them with the best axe you can. Don’t forget to activate your Dragon Axe Special attack if you have it! Chop chop!

Healing the Pyromancer

Occasionally, the pyromancer will get hurt and can’t help maintain the fire in the Brazier. In order to relight the Brazier in this situation, you are going to have to heal the pyromancer. In order to do this, you are going to have to grab a rejuvenation potion (unf) before starting the Wintertodt. Only one person needs to heal the pyromancer at each brazier, so we don’t really recommend you do this for the best experience rates. However, the best way we’ve found to do this is to grab a bruma herb directly after lighting the brazier at the start. Then, you can create the rejuvenation potion and go to the bruma tree to chop roots. Healing the pyromancer does provide 30 points, so if you are shooting for as many points as possible, this might be worth it to you.

Fixing the Brazier

Occasionally, the Wintertodt will summon a snow storm that will break the Brazier you have been Feeding or Fletching next to. When this happens it will need fixed and re-lit. To fix it, simply click on it with a Hammer in your inventory. To re-light it afterwards, simply clicking on it with a Tinderbox in your inventory or a Bruma Torch equipped or in your inventory.

Fletching the Bruma Roots

Whether or not to fletch the Bruma Roots is quite the topic of discussion. One one hand, you have people who want more loot, perhaps ironman accounts who should definitely accumulate those extra points if they can. And on the other, you have regular accounts who just want to be in and out of Wintertodt as fast as possible with that sweet Level 99 Firemaking. The latter, who are focused on time efficiency are known to say things like “Why fletch?”, which might be the most annoying thing you will see anyone say while you are fighting the Wintertodt. Our recommendation for the average player is to chop and burn one inventory of roots, then chop another inventory and only fletch the amount required to reach 500 points before burning them. Remember, you only need 500 points to guarantee the experience reward and a supply crate. Also, keep in mind that burning a regular bruma root grants 10 points while burning a bruma kindling grants 25 points. For example: You light the brazier and proceed to chop and burn 20 bruma roots. You sit at 225 points. When you go to chop more bruma roots, subtract 500 and 225 (This can be approximate) and divide by 25. That will let you know that you need 275 more points to get a reward, so you should fletch 11 bruma roots in your next inventory. The best place to fletch is right where we recommend you started the fight to minimize damage from snow storms. After earning 500 points, feel free to burn regular bruma roots for the best experience rate. Keep in mind that more points can lead to more rolls on the supply crate, but choosing to fletch all of your roots is a decision only you can make.

Here is a great guide with some very useful tips and reasons on why  YOU SHOULD FLETCH  in Wintertodt do gain the most xp ant points possible.

Feeding the Brazier

When you have bruma roots or bruma kindling to feed the fires in the braziers. The best place to feed the brazier is right where we recommend you started the fight. This will minimize your chances of being damaged by the snow storms. While feeding the brazier, keep an eye on your health, as being damaged by the cold will stop you from feeding the flames. When you get hurt, just click the brazier again. We recommend Runelite as it has a plugin that lets you see your health bar as shown here.

Points Earned

Lighting Braziers grants 25 points

Burning Bruma Roots grants 10 points

Burning Bruma Kindling grants 25 points

Repairing Braziers grants 25 points

Healing Pyromancers grants 30 points

OSRS 1-99 Fletching Guide|Fastest Training with Profit

This OSRS 1-99 Fletching guide will teach you everything you need to know about training Fletching in OSRS! You will be able to go from level 1-99 with profit, the fastest leveling, and more! Ironman accounts can learn how too!

This OSRS 1-99 Fletching guide will teach you everything you need to know about training Fletching in OSRS! You will be able to go from level 1-99 with profit, the fastest leveling, and more! Ironman accounts can learn how too!

Fletching is the art of creating ranged weaponry including bows, arrows, darts, among other things. Many players choose to level this skill to make some money, and many others want to get it out of the way quickly. Many players would consider this one of the easiest skills to reach the legendary level of 99 in, and it can certainly be the fastest. However, as you may not know, there are several ways of training the skill that have drastically different time and gold requirements, so if you find yourself needing gold  Ezrsgold  has got you covered – you can  buy gold  from us. Some methods can even allow you to profit with minimal input. In this Fletching guide, we will show you the best profit method, the fastest method (zero time method), and some other methods in between.

Quests that give Fletching xp

Before we get right into the Fletching guide, we should talk about quests that give us an experience reward in the Fletching skill. Of the quests that grant fletching experience, we recommend at least completing Animal Magnetism. Any account that will  be using the ranged skill will want to do this anyways, so it’s best that you skip the first few levels by doing the quest. Animal Magnetism also requires The Restless Ghost, Ernest the Chicken, and Priest in Peril. Many players also complete The Fremennik Trials to subsequently do Fremennik Isles for the Helm of Neitiznot, but as it has more combat requirements, it is far from necessary when starting out on fletching. If you don’t feel like questing you can always use  Ezrsgolds  Questing service.

OSRS Fletching Exp Quests

Useful Fletching Items

There are only a couple of notable items outside of resources and products when it comes to this skill.

Knife

The Knife is simply the basic tool required to carve logs into arrow shafts or bows. You do not need it to string bows or make darts, however.

OSRS Item Knife

Dragonfruit Pie

The Dragonfruit Pie released in January 2019 is a fairly new addition to the Fletching skill. It allows you to boost your Fletching level by 4 temporarily. This will allow you to use any of the methods mentioned in this guide at a level 4 below the requirement. Luckily, they only cost about 700 coins on the Grand Exchange at the time of writing this guide.

OSRS Item Dragonfruit Pie

Fletching training guide with profit

If you want to profit from the fletching skill, and especially if you are a fan of afk methods, this may be the method for you. Cutting and stringing bows to 99 fletching is considered the traditional method of training, and while it may not be as fast as other methods mentioned in this Fletching guide, you can net a cool 20 Million Coins or so! The prices listed here are at the time of writing, and we will post a link to a site where you can look at the current cost or profit down below! Click here to read a guide that’s focused on fletching money making methods.

You will net: 9,615,600 coins

As you can see, at the time of writing this, carving magic longbows is net negative. This can drastically change since the quantity of bows is so high. (over 100 thousand) We recommend that you check the current prices at the time you will be fletching.

That’s it! If you followed this method, you may have netted as much as 20,000,000 coins depending on current prices! At the time of writing, the cost to start making gp is: -92,644 and you will net a total of: 11,759,109. It is important to note that many players will choose to use High Alchemy on their bows after carving or stringing them. Doing that is completely optional, and we only recommend it if you profit by using high alchemy spell on them. The easiest way to figure this out is by taking the High Alchemy value of the bow you have and subtracting the sum of the cost of a nature rune and the worth of the bow itself. That should give you the net cost or profit. If you end up making more gold than you need you can always turn your RS gold into real moneysell us your gold!

Fastest Fletching Training Method (Zero Time Darts)

The fastest way of achieving level 99 in the Fletching skill is actually referred to as Zero Time training. Certain actions such as making darts and bolts can be done while performing other activities such as training Hunter, Slayer, Agility, or doing farm runs. If you have the expendable cash, the highest experience rates come from the highest level darts you can make. Here is a table that gives information on each level of darts. Remember, the GP per XP will not be accurate after this guide has been up for a while. For the most accurate price analysis, use the Fletching Calculator linked at the bottom of this guide.

OSRS Dart Making Chart

Keep in mind that if you wish to train your fletching exclusively using darts, you will have to reach level 10 Fletching from a combination of questing and other Fletching techniques such as carving Arrow Shafts. Many players opt to carve Arrow Shafts until level 10 when using this method if they do not have level 10 Fletching already.

Training your Fletching skill to level 99 using darts can take as little as 4 hours or less assuming you can afford to buy all the resources required. It will, however, cost well over 100M to do so. If you would like to use this method for the fastest experience, but you don’t have the gold required, consider buying gold from us! Unfortunately, you can only buy up to 14,000 dart tips of each tier per 4 hours on the Grand Exchange. If that is not a burden you are willing to take on, the profitable method mentioned above, or the somewhat faster methods below may be of interest to you.

Other Zero Time Method (Bolts)

Darts aren’t the only way you can earn Fletching experience while training one of your other skills. Making bolts is a fairly cheap way of levelling your Fletching up without consuming any of your actual in-game time. As you can see, all of the types of bolts currently cost less than 4 GP per XP to make aside from bronze bolts. It would be very quick to use another method to get your Fletching to level 39 and start with making iron bolts while training agility at a rooftop course for example. In fact, if you have 55 Fletching, and you have purchased the broader fletching perk (300 slayer points) from a slayer master, you can make broad bolts. This can actually turn a profit of 1.33 GP per XP. Training your Fletching from 55 to 99 this way will net you over 15,000,000 coins. Remember, if you make too much gold, don’t hesitate to sell it to us! We buy gold with real money! Also, the GP per XP will not be completely accurate after this guide has been up for a while. For the most accurate price analysis, use the Fletching Calculator linked below.

OSRS Bolt Making Chart

Semi Zero Time Methods

There are other (Semi) Zero Time Methods that have lower experience rates than making darts. These can take absolutely none of your actual time if done while training another skill as mentioned above, you just have to have at least 1.2 seconds (two game ticks) between your other actions to utilize them. They also cost substantially less than making darts. These methods are shown below.

Arrows and Javelins

Making Arrows or Javelins can be done without taking up any of your time, and they have experience rates much higher than the profitable methods shown above. They also cost less to make than darts per each experience point, with the exception of Rune Arrows, Iron Javelins, and Amethyst Javelins. These may be ideal if you want to level the skill up quickly or while training Agility for example, but don’t have the massive amounts of coins to use darts. Remember, the GP per XP will not be accurate after this guide has been up for a while. For the most accurate price analysis, use the Fletching Calculator linked below.

OSRS Arrow Making Chart

OSRS Javelin Making Chart

Tipping Bolts

Another method you may want to consider is adding tips to bolts. This can be done within two in-game ticks just like making arrows or javelins. It doesn’t bring in quite as much experience, but it can make you gold! In fact, at level 84 Fletching, you can add tips to dragon bolts. Making diamond dragon bolts at the time of writing this guide earns you a blistering 210,000 experience points per hour, and over 9 GP per XP. Doing this from level 84 to level 99, you could profit well over 100,000,000 coins! Remember, if you make more gold than you need, you can always turn your  RS gold in to real money  –  sell us your gold! Also, the GP per XP will not be accurate after this guide has been up for a while. For the most accurate price analysis, use the Fletching Calculator linked below.

Alternate Methods

Battlestaves

At level 40 Fletching, you could choose to carve battlestaves from celastrus bark. This method grants about 136,000 experience per hour, which is better than any of the profitable methods until at least level 55 Fletching when you can string maple longbows. Some players choose to carve battlestaves all the way until level 80 when you can carve or string magic shortbows, which grant much more experience per hour than making battlestaves. At the time of writing this guide, making battlestaves costs about 2.8 GP per XP (Check this at the time of reading for accuracy), which would cost over 5,000,000 coins. If you need help paying for this, we sell gold!

Redwood Shields

At level 92 Fletching, you can stop carving or stringing magic longbows to instead carve redwood shields! It offers about 168,000 experience points per hour, which is a notch better than carving magic longbows. If you were stringing magic longbows from level 85 until level 92, we suggest continuing that since it is faster experience, and it has the capability to make you gold! Overall, this method currently costs about 1 GP per XP (Check this at the time of reading for accuracy) gained, and would cost over 6,000,000 coins from level 92 to level 99. Again, if you need gold we have it here!

The best up to date OSRS 1-99 Runecrafting guide by Ezrsgold. Learn to train RC in F2P, P2P, training with astral, soul(zeah Runecrafting), lava rune & more.

Runecrafting – It is one of the most profitable skill to train for any Old School Runescape player, so if you’re looking to make some OSRS gold it is the skill for you!  Runecrafting is also very beneficial to ironmen who plan on training magic because it allows players in the game to craft their own runes for magic spells. Runecrafting can be slow if you’re training as a F2P (Free to Play) player, so if you’re looking for ways to save money on membership click here. That being said, this guide will be useful for both F2P and P2P players. But as already stated it is one of the most profitable skills once you start leveling up. Here’s a 1 to 99 Runecrafting guide for OSRS written by the Ezrsgold  team.

Here’s what you will find in this guide:

Introduction to Runecrafting

F2P Runecrafting training guide

Fastest  1-99 Runecrafting training methods (P2P)

Runecrafting minigame – Guardians of the Rift

Runecrafting money making methods. (P2P)

Introduction to Runecrafting

First thing first – in order to train Runecrafting you must complete the quest Rune Mysteries. During this quest you will get a back-story on this skill. If you don’t feel like completing the quest yourself, feel free to use our Questing service.

If you want to train Runecrafting you will have to do a lot of running. This means that you will need to wear weight reducing gear such as graceful outfit, boots of lightness or other similar items. To train in the most efficient way we also recommend using potions that give you run energy, such as energy potions or stamina potions. If you’re a member you will also need some teleports as it will increase the xp dramatically. We will recommend the best transportation methods with each training method later on.

Runecrafting is a skill used to make magic runes. To make runes you must enter a runecrafting altar and use the essence on the altar. To enter the altar you will need a talisman or a tiara that matches with the alter (for example you could only enter air altar if you had an air tiara or air).

Runes are made by using different types of essence on Runecrafting altars. There are a few types of essences available – rune essence, pure essence and dark essence fragments. Rune essence is used to craft elemental runes (earth, water, fire, wind & air runes). Pure essence can be used to craft both the elemental runes and runes such as cosmic rune, chaos rune, nature rune, law rune, death rune, wrath rune and astral rune. Dark essence fragments are used to craft high level runes such as soul runes and blood runes. There are different Runecrafting strategies for all of these runes that we will discuss later in the guide. Some of the runes mentioned above have very high requirements, while others are accessible to mostly everyone, given that you have the Runecrafting level requirement.

While training Runecrafting it is recommended to use runecrafting pouches. These essence pouches allow a player to carry more essence thus crafting more runes.

As shown in the image below, there are four different types of pouches which can be acquired by killing the abyssal creatures before attaining the required Runecrafting level. This essence can not be stored in the pouches until they meet all the level requirements.

OSRS Runecrafting pouches

Runecrafting pouches degrade over time and must be repaired by the player. Only the small pouch does not need to be repaired. To repair these pouches it you need to talk to the Dark Mage in the Abyss inner ring. One can also repair the pouches by using NPC contact spell on the lunar spellbook. If a player fails to repair the pouches they will have to get new ones from the abyssal monsters as the old ones will vanish once they decay.

F2P Runecrafting training guide

As we mentioned before, to start training this skill you must first complete the Rune mysteries quest.

Runecrafting is done at Runecrafting altars, so don’t forget the respective Runecrafting talisman or tiara (for example you could only enter air altar if you had an air tiara or air).

Once the quest is complete, and you have the needed tiara/talisman – you can start to train. The fastest way to train Runecrafting as a free to play player is to make tiaras.

The best tiaras to make are air tiara and earth tiara, because the cost to make them is lower compared to other tiaras and the path to air and earth altar is faster.

Making Runecrafting tiaras & Fastest F2P & P2P runecrafting xp at low level

If you want to train Runecrafting by making tiaras you will need a plain tiara and a Runecrafting talisman. Visit the runecrafting altar, use your tiara on the altar and the tiara will change according to the type of altar you used it on. Also, upon equipping a tiara it makes the altar accessible with a left-click and removes the animation on getting into the altar. It is possible to craft up to fourteen tiaras in one trip without teleports or if you’re a member thirteen tiaras with teleports, the Abyss can be used as well.

Here’s a video explaining how you can make tiaras.

Here’s what tiaras we recommend making to achiever 99 Runecrafting in free to play.

Level 1-9 Air tiara

Level 9-99 Earth tiara

prices to make OSRS RC tiaras for f2p

Here’s the path to the air altar:

Air altar in OSRS

Here’s the path to the earth altar:

Earth rc altar OSRS

This is the fastest way to advance in Runecrafting, however it may be very expensive. As you can see in the chart below the price per xp gained is between 6gp and 12gp, depending on the tiara you will be making, so to get to level 99 Runecrafting you will spend 78-156m OSRS gold, so if your short on gold you can buy OSRS gold from Ezrsgold.

Or you could just buy an account that already has a high Runecrafting level at our OSRS account shop.

If you don’t want to spend a lot of gold on Runecrafting you can always craft runes. This way you will be making money.

Here’s the best way to train Runecrafting to 99 in free to play and make some money along the way:

Make sure you use pure essence, as it is way cheaper!

1-9 Runecrafting: craft air runes; you will need to bring 7 inventories full of pure essence to the air altar to get to level 9.

9-14 Runecrafting: you can continue crafting air runes or start crafting earth runes.

14-20 Runecrafting: craft fire runes; The altar can be found near the duel arena. You can see the path in the picture bellow

fire runecrafting altar in OSRS

20-99 Runecrafting: craft body runes. The altar can be found in the picture below. You will make about 14M OSRS gold on your way to 99 Runecrafting using this method.

OSRS F2P RC training at body altar

Fastest Runecrafting training methods for P2P

Training Runecrafting as a member is way easier and faster compared to f2p training.

To start of your training we really recommend doing the quests that give you Runecrafting xp. These quests are: Enter the abyss miniquest, The eyes of Glouphrie and The ascent of Arceuus. These quests will put you at level 24 Runecrafting and they have very little requirements. There is another quest that gives Runecrafting xp (Lunar diplomacy), however, the requirements for this quest are quite high. If you don’t want to quest yourself, Ezrsgold Questing team can do it for you!

There are several ways you can train Runecrafting, but for the fastest Runecrafting xp, we recommend crafting lava runes, as it’s the most efficient way of training. At higher levels you can get as much as 72k Runecrafting xp per hour. It will cost you about 2gp per xp gained, so if you’re short on gold you can buy gold from us.

So to recap what was written:

1-24 Runecrafting – Quest/use F2p guide

24-99 craft lava runes

The most efficient way to craft lava runes

items you should be wearing:

Weight reducing gear

A binding necklace

A fire tiara

Mist battlestaff

A tome of fire

You should also wear ring of dueling or crafting skill cape for faster banking.

Things to have in your inventory:

rune pouch containing astral and cosmic runes for NPC contact and Magic Imbue spells

A stack of earth runes

Runecrafting pouches

Here’s a quick guide on how everything should look

Another way to gain fast levels at the start is making tiaras. You can read about it in the f2p guide, but how doing it as a member is different is that you can use teleports. So the cheapest tiara to make at the moment is earth tiara. It also grants you the most xp compared to other tiaras.

To make earth tiaras efficiently use Lumberyard teleports to teleport next to the altar and after you imbue the tiaras use a ring of dueling to teleport to castle wars for a quick re-bank. Alternatively you can use Balloon transportation system for a fast way to the earth altar, you will save some money, but the xp will be slightly slower.

Training Runecrafting at Arceuus library

This is an interesting way of training Runecrafting, best suited for ironmen. You will need to search for books of arcane knowledge to gain xp. There are certain tools that let you collect a lot of these books per hour, you can see how it’s done if you see the video below. This method is pretty good, but you will not make any money and the xp is not that good.

If you want to train Runecrafting without losing money here are the best runes to make while training to level 99.

1-14 Air rune

14-27 Fire rune

27-44 Cosmic rune

44-82/95/99 Nature runes

82-91 Astral Runes

91-95/99 Nature runes

95-99 Wrath runes (if you completed Dragon Slayer II)

This is the most profitable path to 99 Runecrafting, more on these methods in the money making section.

Runecrafting minigame – Guardians of the Rift

Runecrafting has been changed forever. Finally, there has been a runecrafting minigame added to the game and training this skill has become a lot easier. To engage in this minigame you will need at least level 27 runecrafting and completed Temple of the Eye quest. So how much xp can you get playing Guardians of the rift minigame? You will get up to 70k xp per hour as well as up to 1m GP/H. Watch this guide to get a good idea of how it’s done.

Runecrafting money making methods. (P2P)

Most people want to train Runecrafting for one reason – to make a lot of gold. These methods are guaranteed to make you rich while training this skill.

Here are the most profitable ways to train Runecrafting:

Crafting wrath Runes

wrath runecrafting altar

This method can make you up to 1.8M OSRS gp per hour! However, you need to have 95 Runecrafting and have Dragon Slayer II completed. These are some high requirements, but it shows you how profitable this skill can be.

Crafting nature runes

This can be done at level 44 Runecrafting, and you will make about 500k/Hour, however, at level 91 Runecrafting you will be making up to 1.3M per hour!

Crafting death runes

At level 99 Runecrafting you will be making 1.2M per hour!

Crafting astral runes

This will net you up to  1.1M OSRS gold per hour at level 82 Runecrafting.

Crafting law runes

Expect to make 300k at level 54 RC and up to 900k at level 95 RC.

Crafting cosmic runes

This can make you up to 750k/Hour at level 75 Runecrafting, however, you will be making money at level 27 RC too.

Crafting mud runes

This method gives fast xp and you can also make quite a bit of money. For the highest profit it is recommended to have 82 Magic and the ability to cast Magic imbue and 50+ Runecrafting. Expect to profit up to 700k/Hour.

Crafting blood runes

This method is quite afk compared to all the other runecrafting methods. Expect to make up to 600k per hour. 77 Runecrafting is needed for this method.

These are the most profitable Runecrafting methods out there.

Check out our article on the best afk OSRS money making methods if you’re looking for more ways to make Runescape gold.

If you will be using our recommended training methods to get 99 Runecrafting, expect to make about 300M OSRS gold in the process. If you want to turn your Runescape gold to real money, you can always sell your gold to Ezrsgold.

Good luck on your journey to 99 Runecrafting and as always, take it Ez.

1 – 99 OSRS Construction Guide

In this Old School Runescape Construction training guide we will teach you the fastest xp methods like making mahogany tables & Construction money makers!

In this Old School Runescape Construction training guide we will teach you the fastest xp methods like making mahogany tables & Construction money makers!

Construction is one of the most important and helpful skills that will help you with both PVM content as well as skilling! It is one of the most helpful skills in the game but it’s also one of the most expensive skills to train, notable for requiring around 250M to get to 99, so if you need some gold be sure to  buy gold  from Ezrsgold!

Why is construction so helpful? You can build various furniture in your house that will help you restore your stats, store items, switch spellbooks, use unlimited teleports, fix barrows equipment and do lots of other cool stuff!

How to start training construction

The first thing you should do is head over to a real estate agent.

These can be found in multiple cities:  Varrock, Falador, Seers’ Village, East Ardougne, Hosidius, and Prifddinas.

After you have bought a house you are all set to start! One thing to know is training construction is click intensive and you will be throwing away and remaking a large amount of the same item.

A great benefit to having a house is the ability to change your house location where there are no teleports for easy access. You will gain different locations the higher your construction level is.

The quests that give construction experience

osrs construction quest xp rewards

Helpful tips and tricks to increase the experience per hour:

When training construction you should use a butler to go to the bank for you and receive more planks so you have as little down time as possible! (You will need to build a second bedroom for your butler. After all, he is not a monster… he needs sleep as well!!)

For more efficient training of construction, consider building a tipping jar into your house so the butler does not bother you that he needs to be payed!

Most Notable goals for Construction

Level 32 – Combat room:

Here you can build a combat dummy at level 48 construction who will tell you what your max hit is so you can see how fast you can stack people out! This would be especially useful for pkers.

There is an undead combat dummy that you can build at level 53 construction who will let you know how high you can hit if you were on a slayer task and undead monsters! This would be especially useful for PVMers.

Various teleports:

You can make a teleport room where you can build a portal with runes and various equipment.

These portals are costly but will act as a permanent teleport to the place you direct them! You can use the normal spellbook, but the Ancient spellbook will allow you to make more teleports.

You can hang up amulets of glory on the walls, Digsite Pendants, and even a Xeric’s Talisman for teleporting to the Chambers of Xeric!

You only have to build this once in your house in order to unlock all the teleports these amulets provide for you!

You can build a jewelry box that will also include a glory teleport. Don’t build a mounted glory, the jewelry box is better because the jewelry box can also contain the Ring of Dueling, Games / Skills Necklaces, Combat Bracelets, and a Ring of Wealth! This will save you a lot of money in the long run if you play this game actively.

Gilded altar:

Yes, that’s right! You can have your own altar in your POH. (Player owned house) You can quickly teleport to your house to recharge your prayer or train prayer!
No more going to other people houses, since at level 75 you can train quickly and efficiently in your own house.

Superior Garden:

The most important one in my book! Build your own spirit tree or fairy ring!

Or if you construction level is 95 or higher, you can build them both!

Restoration pool:

A pool that restores : Special attack, Run Energy, Prayer, Stats, Hitpoints.

Depending on your construction level you can build a number of different pools in your house!

These pools all have a different effect. Varying from just special attack to all of the above effects at once!

Imagine PVMing with this no more food and prayer pots wasting! Heaven!

Spellbook Altars:

At level 90 construction you can make an Occult Altar. This altar will allow you to switch from normal spellbook to Ancients and Lunars. No more long walks to various places to swap your spellbook, as it is right here in your house!

Note: We used steel nails in this calculation. You could use lower level nails but these tend to bend a lot so we advice to use higher level nails like steel in this picture.

Levels 33-52: Oak Larders

We would like to recommend using oak larders in the kitchen. Oak larders require 8 oak planks to make. This means you will only need a hammer and a saw to make 3 oak larders an inventory. Giving 480 experience each making this method with a butler extremely viable with an experience per hour averaging 480.000 XP/H! That is extremely fast at this low level.

Level 52 – 99: Mahogany Furniture

At level 52 you are able to make mahogany tables in the dining room.

Each table requires 6 mahogany planks and will grant you 840 experience each table you make.

Which would mean you get around 700-800k XP/H if you are very efficient and have a butler to assist.

This is a very expensive method but also very fast!

Alternatively you can use 52-77 mahogany tables and use Gnome benches for 77-94
Gnome benches are a little bit less expensive the mahogany tables but not by much!

Alternative Construction training methods

Levels 50 – 99: Mounted Mythical cape (Teak Furniture)

This method requires 3 teak planks along with a mythical cape. The cape will be returned to you every time you break it down. This method will grant you 370 experience every mount you will make.

The player can get up to 350 – 400k XP/H.
This method is a lot slower than the mahogany furniture but also is less expensive by half the amount.

At level 66 you can use other teak furniture shown above.

I will list some alternatives in this picture below which will show you what you can build.

It will also show you the amount of planks required and how many of the item you need to build in order to reach this goal.

Players can reach up to 600 – 650k XP/H building garden benches or gain up to around 500 – 550k XP/H building carved teak magic wardrobes at level 69.

STASH units

You might have seen these in various places around Runescape.

These places are built for clue scroll item storages so that you don’t have to clog up your bank and just complete your clue scrolls as fast as possible!

These stash unites have different construction level requirements varying by clue scroll location.

Unique construction training method

This method doesn’t require you to spend any money on construction and it can actually be trained by killing monsters. For this method you will need at least 30 construction and completed Death to the Dorgeshuun quest (our quest service an help you with that).

So how do you train construction for free? It’s simple – collect Long bone and Curved bone drops from your enemies and turn them in to Barlak who is located at the bottom floor of Dorgesh-Kaan. You will receive 1k gp & 4,5k Construction xp for a long bone and 2k gp & 6750 Construction xp for a curved bone. These bones are dropped by large foes all across Runescape. You can even get them while training in nightmare zone by killing Dad, Arrg, Skeleton hellhound, black knight titan (only if you’re using melee) and for the 5th boss select any weak boss that’s easy to kill like Count Draynor. Those bones stay on the ground for 10 minutes, so be sure to check your screen every so often so you don’t miss the drops. Enjoy the free construction xp 😉

Construction Minigame – Mahogany homes

This is another great way to train the skill, because it’s not as click intensive as the conventional method. It’s only slightly cheaper, a lot slower but a lot more chilled back, so it’s up to you if you want to start it.

Here’s a video about this training method.

You will also learn about the carpenters outfit, plank sack, Amy’s saw and other useful construction items.

Construction Moneymaking Methods

As with all skills there are certain ways to make money with the skill some involve other stat requirements and other are just construction based:

Making Tablets:

Bones to peaches

The tablets are made on a mahogany demon lectern or marble lectern in a player-owned house study. The most cost effective place to make tablets is at a house in Rimmington, where there is a nearby NPC named Phials who will un-note items for 5 coins each. To make tablets, move your POH to Rimmington and bring nature runes, noted soft clay, and coins. Find Phials, use the noted soft clay on him, and choose the third chat option to quickly un-note them. Then enter a POH through the house portal and enchant the tablets on a lectern.

House teleport tablets:

The tablets are made on mahogany eagle lectern or marble lectern in a player-owned house study. This does not have to be your house, but it is strongly recommended that your house is in the same vicinity as the one you are using (i.e. if your friend’s house is in Yanille, yours should be there too). Using an amulet of glory or a ring of dueling to bank, and using the Teleport to House spell to access your house quickly, you can create an inventory of 26 tablets per trip (two inventory slots are used for the earth and law runes).

If you have a portal chamber in your house, or a mounted amulet of glory in a quest hall, those can act as an alternative teleportation method for banking. The exact time per trip varies with the location of the lectern (closer to the entrance portal saves time), but on average, a round trip, counting banking, takes approximately 150 seconds, for a total of 625 tablets per hour.

Making clockwork:

This method involves crafting Toy cats using the workshop in a player-owned house, and assumes the use of the demon butler. Although it is possible to use another player’s crafting table, doing so would prevent the use of a servant, decreasing profits. Withdraw a stack of coins, plus noted stacks of clockworks and planks. Also take out 12 un-noted versions of each, then head to your player-owned house. Click the crafting table, then select “clockwork toy” (4), then “clockwork cat” (5). As soon as you see the experience drop, click the table again and repeat. Once you have 12 cats, have your demon butler bring them all to the bank, then run to Phials in Rimmington to un-note 12 more clockworks and planks. Return to your crafting table and repeat.

Hosting your own house:

You finally did it! You made yourself a very fancy house with a gilded altar, other players can switch spellbooks in your house and they can restore stats. You can go to the house party world and open your house to other players training prayer or just PVMing. Sometimes people are generous and will give you some money to use your house and be more efficient! This is all based on generous people so sometimes you make nothing and sometimes you make bank in 1 hour.

Miscellaneous:

Although construction is meant to be a money sink you can clearly see there are some methods that involve construction that will make you a bit of money to start your adventure off with!

Besides the money-making methods listed in the above section, The benefits of having a maxed house is that everything you do becomes a bit faster. For example, if you have seen someone do a lot of clue scrolls with eclectic implings, the reason you can do that is that you can just go to your house and you have tons of teleports to go to several places. You can also have all the stash units filled with items needed for the clue scrolls because you have such a high construction level!

You can also use the fairy ring in your house and go instantly to the destination you need, so overall i would say that construction is a very useful but very costly skill. If you are looking to invest in a skill and have the money to invest in construction, it would be a great idea to do so because it will improve your Runescape experience overall!

New OSRS money making method! Use it while it works and make tons of RS 2007 gold while you can. EzRsGold gives you the chance to make RS gold yourself.

Hello everyone. Today I am going to tell you a brand new OSRS money making method!

Items required:

Piscatoris teleport

Noose Wand

Chisel

5x Ring of pursuit

Optional: Stamina potions and weight reducing gear

Stat requirements:

Level  49 hunter

Teleport to Piscatoris. Run south until you find a burrow. Equip the ring of pursuit before inspecting the burrow because it gives a chance of seeing the whole path of the animal after inspecting the burrow. If the path isn’t revealed, simply inspect the nearby plants until you uncover the animals’ path. After the footsteps passed bushes a couple of times you will get an attack option on the bush the path led to.

After you attack the bush you will get a Long kebbit spike. Use a chisel on it and you will get 6 kebbit bolts. Those bolts can be sold for about 10k as of today!

The longer you do this method, the more money you will make, because there are a few variations of where the footprints lead so in time you will memorize them and you will know exactly where to go next.

This method will get you about 35k hunter xp an hour.

You can also expect to make up to 1100k in an hour!

This money making method is amazing and not many people are doing it, so if you are up for training some hunter and making insane amounts of RuneScape gold, don’t hold back!
